Lag and freezing in PS4 console. Unplayable. Refund

My game is still unplayable. It lags (approx 2fps) freezes crashes and has wiped out my library 3 times. I have had to use the gallery for back up. I have almost all the packs so I have a lot invested in this broken game. I have tried everything from restarting to uninstalling and reinstalling the game. All my other games on my PS4 including GTA work fine. Even after all the updates, it just gets worse. Like I said, unplayable. Can I get a full refund for a  game I can no longer play after spending hundreds on this?

    It has always been laggy and takes approx 15 minutes from start up to loading the game but it became unplayable after purchasing high school years and is worse after updates and the free kit.

    Sadly enough I'm not well versed enough with consoles to troubleshoot, though I hope someone else is able to do that.

    I personally think it's unlikely that they'll grant a refund for this exact reason, though it's always good to try.

    @Corabelredhead Are you talking about Apex Legends, or a different game? I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "purchasing high school years" and the "free kit"
