[LEAKS] Maps for the new mode (Titanfall fans)

Titanfall 2 fans will love this.

I've already made a post about this Capture the Flag/Ball mode back in March when it was first leaked. Kralrindo (https://twitter.com/kralrindo) has datamined that Respawn has added capture points on some of the maps but the interesting part is that the maps indicated are Titanfall 2 maps. These are just lines of code and not the actual maps themselves are added into the game except for Colony.

Mode description: "Contest for the ball and drive it into the enemy base to score" and "You can only hold the ball for a short time. Pass it to an ally before it's too late."

Skip to 4:52 for the capture of the flag mode. The second part of the video are for gun run which we already have now. First part of the video is an upcoming arenas possibly also gun run map.

I'm not sure if these maps will be changed for Apex Legends but if I were to guess, they only be minimally changed but the general structure of the map is the same. I've never played the TF2's multiplayer (only the campaign). Did you like these maps? What other modes do you want these maps applied?

Apparently, the Skulltown Gun Run map is using the Eden Titanfall 2 skybox.
Datamined by KralRindo, here’s the whole skulltown map when viewed from the outside.

@Cheese9Man Isn't it weird that they made a defined skybox so low on these maps? It sure makes for interesting zip lines. Has anyone Valk ulted? I'm curious to see how close to the skybox she gets.

I'm really looking forward to playing the TF maps. I've watched them played on enough to kinda know some of them. It would be really cool if they make a mode that has wallrunning incorporated, especially since that was an intentional element to the map designs.

Homestead is my favorite Frontier Defense Map. Not sure how good it will be when you can't wall run though...

Just think, in the future when Respawn lets Apex die.... They'll make a new Apex, urr....I mean, a new game and bring back many apex factors (guns, maps, game play, movement, lore etc), for us fans to spend some more hard earned cash on.
I mean its smart really. Once its noticed that the money monster that is Apex starts generated less and less revenue - letting the game die (to which ever end that may be), and making a new game with all the same mechanics etc (same game really) and calling it something else - makes sales boom yet again.
Rinse and repeat.

Archer anti-titan heavy rocket has been added in the files but not necessarily mean that it will come to the game. Just another TF call back. Titans being tested?

@Kyldenar Hope we get a mode with these weapons. Maybe a gun run varient where everyone has a red shield but all the weapons are red/heirloom weapons.

I was too late with TF2 as I’ve only played TF2’s campaign this year. Wish I could’ve been there when MP was alive.

@Cheese9Man You would have really liked Frontier Defense I think. Every time I can manage to get a game to connect I love it. I really wish Apex had a mode like it for single player content (or even cooperative PvE content). Squad of 3, drop in, clear out the wildlife, malfunctioning specter robots, and maybe some IMC holdouts so that Blisk can host the games on that map...

I would love the SMR in the game, but it would have to be a care package weapon. Even assuming for red armor, it would be 2 shots at most.

But it would make people complain less about Valk's rockets. At least they don't heat seek and all converge on one target...
