Hi all, you've had a few weeks to try the Legends and get a feel for your favorites. We thought it might be fun to have a few discussions focused on specific Legends and how you're feeling about them right now. Next up is Bangalore! Bangalor is another legend that I feel fits really well. I use her second to lifeline. The smoke is great, as is her passive (even with the nerf). I sometimes feel her ULT could do with speeding up, but only when using it, as it feels OK when on the receiving end lol.I like her, and find she does synergise well with the other legends.@prankstar2 Change the record. She's fine as is, even with the nerf.

She synergizes well with several champs, for example:* Bloodhound - Smoking enemies when bloodhound activates his ult. Bloodhound can see them but if they don't have gear to counteract it, they are usually downed fast.* Gibraltar - Combining ults really nukes the whole area. leaving no one untouched.* Caustic - Hiding his poison barrels in her smoke is genious. People go in and all of a sudden they are poisoned!Her increased speed when shot upon really gives you a way to engage, disengage fights. I feel as if she has an aggressive role in the game that really lines up with this high paced shooter.

Bangalore Feedback:She is currently my favourite Legend (above Wraith).And second only to Caustic (which I will return to, once the hitbox discrepancies are fixed).Double Time Ability:Her passive ability is strong, really strong in fact.She is the perfect frontline legend as I don't know how many times I've been saved by being frontline, looking for enemies, finding 3 all targeting me at once, and then turning around & retreating to heal.This is also really good for flanking FAST, as all it takes is 1 bullet in her general direction and she gets this huge speed boost.I can understand why you are reducing the speed boost, and I think this is fair, but we'll have to see how this pans out.Smoke Grenade:A simple, yet really powerful ability, only countered by a few Legends out there (like Bloodhound or Caustic {I always toss my Gas Ulti into Bangalore's smoke, it's a pretty strong counter}). Combine the Smoke with Digital Threat with a fully kitted Prowler (or Peacekeeper/R99...basically any weapon that can hold a digi-threat, with my personal preference being the Prowler), and she is downright insane !Artillery Strike:This is a fairly weak Ulti IMO, as it doesn't deal that much damage, but the large area that it covers is really good for zone control.I also like how it slows the enemies down if they get caught in it, and deals a bit of damage, but I feel as if the slowing effect was made for more than just (single use), and that the intention was perhaps to use this as a way to trap the enemy, deal a bit of damage, for Bangalore to jump in & finish the target? If so, then this is easier said than done because the Artillery Strike covers such a large area, it's really dificult to make this work/use this effetcively. Work in Progress I guess.To conclude:By far, the passive ability (speed boost) and (smoke) are my 2 favourite abilities, not just with Bangalore, but compared to most other Legends. As she really fits my playstyle quite well.Suggestions:Having the option for Bangalore to not be affected by her Artillery Strike would be really handy as she can't even see through her own smoke like Caustic can with his gas. Maybe make it so that if Bangalore has her Passive (Double Time) ability still unused/unspent, that if she drops her Artillery Strike, her Passive cancels out the damage (because she's so fast she can dodge between the strikes) ?This would allow for some really interesting plays IMO.Tweaking the Artillery Strike so as to be able to choose the directions in which it 'carpets' the land, so you don't have to throw it at a specific direction/angle (good in theory, not sure how it could work in practice).As for the Double Time speed boost reduction, I can see why you felt it necessary to do this, but was suprised by just how much it was reduced, (from 40% -> 30%, so a 1/4 or 25% decrease... #feelsbadman.Now if I could change only 1 thing from Bangalore, it would be:To either completely remove, or reduce significantly, the Artillery Strike Missile Warning system (the orange missile thingy that appears if you're within the Arty Strike Area), IF you smoked the enemy in that particular area.The way I picture it is: Smoke an area where the enemy is, then Arty Strike it.If the enemy is within your smoke, they lose visibility of the 'missile warnings'.Or maybe add this for Grenades as well or only for nades?Would be really cool.CheersJoJo

Bangalore is the best legend in the game atm. Smoke grenades are probably the most useful grenades in BR games. Bangalore is the only one that have them in Apex.Double time make her the ultimate escape artist and also the most aggressive legend of all.The ultimate is almost useless, but it's well compensated by very good other abilities.I feel like the ultimate can't get any buffs, since then other aspects would have to be nerfed and I prefer to keep her as she is.P.S. Double time most definitely needed that nerf. 40% was insane.P.P.S. 600 (out of ~900 total) kills on bangalore and counting.

Really? Do you feel as if threatening them as a "paying customer" is the way to go. it's a free game and if you actually choose to pay for skins or whatever, it's your choice. You don't automatically get leverage over devs because of that. Or did i miss something in the EULA?

I was going to buy the Battlepass and I have already spent $20 on this game because I didn't know they were going to make my favorite character unusable. I am a paying customer, I don't care if you are a cheapskate.

A friend I play with everyday and who sometimes plays Bangalore didn't know what her passive ability was or about the nerf.
I have around 80 kills with Bangalore. Definitely a potential favourite Legend. I just prefer Gibraltar at the moment.

I scoured the internet trying to figure out why this braindead Corporation decided to give Bangalore's passive ability the shaft and I finally figured it out, they are adding this stupid Octane character into the game that would have ran slightly slower than Bangalore while she was being shot at every single time he uses his ability but now that they nerfed her he will be able to run as fast as her while she is being shot at any time he wants to. The reason why they want him to be this obscenely overpowered is because they are going to put him behind a paywall for the Battlepass and then probably nerf him after they got their money. This whole sociopathic money grubbing plot stinks of EA.

The slight decrease in speed is not even that noticable @prankstar2. Bangalore still runs really fast and becomes hard to hit when you shoot her. Also, whenever I play as Bangalore, in the first few minutes when I unarmed fight an armed enemy, the increased speed is amazing. If the enemy with the gun shoots you, you can run faster and thus reach that enemy quicker to use melee. The passive of Bangalore is one that is used every single fight, while other legends sometimes cannot even use their passive at all (Pathfinder, Mirage)

Also, we don't even know anything yet about upcoming content and how new legends plays out. How can you even judge something we haven't had any confirmed information about?

Refer to this in the FAQ on the Apex official website:

Legends will not be blocked behind a paywall.

You've been complaining none stop since they took a tiny 10% off her movement speed,movement speed she gets constantly compared to any other legend.it's not a nerf to me,its an adjustment.i will buy 15 battles passes if they keep doing the things are are doing,rip peacekeeper,rip wingman,no rip bangalore because it's not a nerf in reality.

I personally think 30% movement speed forever instead of 40% isn't a nerf at all.remember,shes got it forever,each and every time a bullet comes her way she gets a boost,other legends have to wait 15 seconds or until their ultis charge.the rest of her kit is fine.perfectly ballanced legend.
