Bangalore Feedback:
- She is currently my favourite Legend (above Wraith).
- And second only to Caustic (which I will return to, once the hitbox discrepancies are fixed).
Double Time Ability:
- Her passive ability is strong, really strong in fact.
- She is the perfect frontline legend as I don't know how many times I've been saved by being frontline, looking for enemies, finding 3 all targeting me at once, and then turning around & retreating to heal.
- This is also really good for flanking FAST, as all it takes is 1 bullet in her general direction and she gets this huge speed boost.
- I can understand why you are reducing the speed boost, and I think this is fair, but we'll have to see how this pans out.
Smoke Grenade:
- A simple, yet really powerful ability, only countered by a few Legends out there (like Bloodhound or Caustic {I always toss my Gas Ulti into Bangalore's smoke, it's a pretty strong counter}). Combine the Smoke with Digital Threat with a fully kitted Prowler (or Peacekeeper/R99...basically any weapon that can hold a digi-threat, with my personal preference being the Prowler), and she is downright insane !
Artillery Strike:
- This is a fairly weak Ulti IMO, as it doesn't deal that much damage, but the large area that it covers is really good for zone control.
- I also like how it slows the enemies down if they get caught in it, and deals a bit of damage, but I feel as if the slowing effect was made for more than just (single use), and that the intention was perhaps to use this as a way to trap the enemy, deal a bit of damage, for Bangalore to jump in & finish the target? If so, then this is easier said than done because the Artillery Strike covers such a large area, it's really dificult to make this work/use this effetcively. Work in Progress I guess.
To conclude:
By far, the passive ability (speed boost) and (smoke) are my 2 favourite abilities, not just with Bangalore, but compared to most other Legends. As she really fits my playstyle quite well.
Suggestions:
- Having the option for Bangalore to not be affected by her Artillery Strike would be really handy as she can't even see through her own smoke like Caustic can with his gas. Maybe make it so that if Bangalore has her Passive (Double Time) ability still unused/unspent, that if she drops her Artillery Strike, her Passive cancels out the damage (because she's so fast she can dodge between the strikes) ?
This would allow for some really interesting plays IMO. - Tweaking the Artillery Strike so as to be able to choose the directions in which it 'carpets' the land, so you don't have to throw it at a specific direction/angle (good in theory, not sure how it could work in practice).
- As for the Double Time speed boost reduction, I can see why you felt it necessary to do this, but was suprised by just how much it was reduced, (from 40% -> 30%, so a 1/4 or 25% decrease... #feelsbadman.
Now if I could change only 1 thing from Bangalore, it would be:
To either completely remove, or reduce significantly, the Artillery Strike Missile Warning system (the orange missile thingy that appears if you're within the Arty Strike Area), IF you smoked the enemy in that particular area.
The way I picture it is: Smoke an area where the enemy is, then Arty Strike it.
If the enemy is within your smoke, they lose visibility of the 'missile warnings'.
Or maybe add this for Grenades as well or only for nades?
Would be really cool.
