Legend Spotlight: Crypto

Crypto is great so far but I like to see some small changes to him:

• Drone should be able to ping items like weapons, grenades, consumables etc. 
• The Drone should also be able to Ping how many squads are in the area when pinging a Display Banner. Allow Crypo to say things like: "There is 1 Hostile Squad in the area", "There are 2 Hostile Squads in the area". Allow him to say this up to at least 0/1/2/3/4. I have never seen 5 squads alive in an area yet. This doesn't include rank or pro play matches but in pubs that is great information without using a mic or chat. 
• Allow Crypto to EMP with one hand without cancelling his healing item. If you don't know, Crypto can recall his drone back while healing at the same time. However, Crypto cannot EMP and heal at the same time. It would be great if he could EMP with one hand.
• Give the Drone at least 30 HP and the Health automatically refills back to 30 if recalled. It gets shot down too fast.
• Not sure if it possible, but is there a way to increase the Drone sensitive so you can move freely faster. I be dodging bullets as best as I can but it a little too slow sometimes to the point I put the drone against a wall and EMP. 
• EMP should damage people's shields on the ground if they were worn in the last 5 seconds before the EMP went off. All shields in the area, including the death boxes or shields on the ground for -50. Just like how EMP damage's Wattson's and Octane's ultimate but 50 damage. If that is possible. Then EMP should hit the shields on the ground for -50 too. 

EMP 30 meter radius is fine to me. 

It would be great if Drone could see people in Bangalore's Smoke and Caustic's Gas. It actually cannot do that unless the smoke and gas clear a little but. The gas and storm doesn't destroy drone. Another thing I notice is the drone cannot tell if Mirage is a Decoy or see him invisible. I EMP a decoy so many times it not even funny lol. If these are intended it is fine then. I mean, Bloodhound can see people through smoke and gases. So Bloodhound at least has something that Crypto can't do. 

EMP sometimes doesn't destroy Gibby's Dome Shield. Is that a bug or something? Sometimes I destroy and sometimes it still up. 

@Leo_the_Lion25or if they have no shield on(by the time Crypto has his EMP everyone should have a white) they take 50 damage.

@EA_DavidCrypto is okay, but his drone is too loud.
Also he should only be visible and glow bright orange right before emps,
at other times his drone should be hard to detect.

His drone should be a stealth camera in the sky.

I was really hyped about unlocking crypto, and i do like the legend but he's one I'd prefer to have in my squad rather than me playing directly.

But that's mainly down to the fact that when i use him my randoms don't really capitalise on the info i give them, rendering him pretty useless for me.

His abilities and ultimate are fine as they are in my opinion but as @Leo_the_Lion25  highlighted the ping system could use some more work when operating the drone. If crypto can see what his drone see's...then logically you should be able to ping everything too.

No use me finding a gold bodyshield in a supply bin if i can't communicate this to my squad via ping,as an EU player there are a lot of language barriers to contend with so calling it over mic isn't always viable either.

I think Crypto is very strong when used well in a good squad. Season 3 does place more emphasis on squads which is a good thing. His drone is really well designed in terms of its capabilities which means there's plenty of things to learn and keep you interested in Crypto.

Is the EMP too big? Probably. It would still be useful to squads (if it were nerfed) but would also go some way to not making already good squads too strong. This opening phase of Season 3 has been characterised by very powerful Charge Rifles and EMPs. I'm pretty sure players are ready for some nerfs by now.
