@Cheese9ManThanks a lot for the reply! (and thanks everybody else) I'll take all of that in consideration. I understand knowing the map is important, maybe that's the reason why I usually seem to do decently in Arenas, because that's the mode I play the most, but fail miserably whenever I hit BR. I sometimes use those matches when I get no filled in Duos to just wander the map trying to memorize it, but it seems huge and I always get surprised without knowing where to go, so I get that's something that only comes with practice.
Anyway I took notes of what everybody's saying of Duos being extremely sweaty, I thought it would be the best mode to get the feel of BR, but yeah I saw SBMM it's at its worst there.
@Lyntur Sounds like you're taking the right steps in terms of learning the game so not much else can be said on that front.
One thing I would say is don't be afraid to disengage and gather yourself if a fights going south. Your teammates probably won't thank you for it but it is the smart play, they've just failed to realise that.
As for the matchmaking, that's a sore point throughout the game no matter how good you get.
Apex is a sweatfest, its honestly just something we have to accept since the more the playerbase complains, the more savage the matchmaking seems to become.
Pretty sorry state of affairs really lol.
