@GRiPSViGiL I mean, first and foremost this is a game, and handicapping a good chunk of the playerbase will make the game unpopular.

I get it people want to play with friends and not everyone is on the same platform. Just don't call it a competitive game if some form of automation is allowed. Allow all automation, I mean they can't stop AutoHotKey scripts that remove recoil and we all have seen aimbots and wall hacks in PC gaming. It is comedy to me, you can't use this automation over here but you can use this automation here.
Do they even have cash prize official crossplay tournaments? I remember their being a lot of crying when consoles weren't included in the tournaments.

If the controller player is lasering, then either they’re good, they have too much aim assist, or they’re just using hacks. Aim assist is some automation, but they’re basically giving the minor automation to the people who can’t do as well.
But anyway, how would you do a crossplay thing? Or how would you balance mouse and controller?- @Sir_Named Easy. Require console to have mouse and keyboard support.
@Sir_Named I appreciate what you are trying to do here. But the problem in this statement is here "but they're basically giving the minor automation to the people who can't do as well." We cannot lower expectation and skill level to the lowest common denominator because they can't compete with their chosen input method.
I want to play the game with a super scope. Should respawn give me the help I need to make that input method competitive? Logical answer is no.

Respawn does have to make the controller able to be competitive, or else they’re writing off the entire controller competitive scene. It’s not like controller is some barely used input, a ton of people use it. Which is why Respawn has to make it equal, or else every controller player will be at a disadvantage.
