Map change game crash bug

Every time the map changes for ranked the game bricks itself and i have to verify integrity before playing again. Happens every single time the map rotates.

Heya,

I'm suspecting something related to the map thumbnails might be getting corrupted or assets related to that.
Are you playing on PC? If so, it's possible some cached assets might be causing these issues (Which usually game verification via the launchers does not touch)

If you are, try following these steps (Make sure Apex is closed first):

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

Type in: "%USERPROFILE%\saved games\respawn\apex" and click OK.

Delete the Assets folder located in the specified directory.

These files should be generated again the next time you start up the game, and hopefully resolving the issue you are encountering.
If this does not help, or if you are on console, do let me know and we'll go from there to look for a solution.
