@reconzeroSolo queue is hell, but it is better than a premade duo in Trios. MM somehow always makes your 3rd completely useless and pits you against even crazier enemy teams. The "premades are better than solos" assumption just doesn't work , especially in that case. A full premade is the best option if you have friends to play with, but even that isn't a guarantee.
The lack of anything in the patch notes related to anti-cheat, anti-smurf, or matchmaking improvements is telling. All the content and gameplay changes will just fade away if they don't do anything about those issues. It will be just a prettier & different looking way to die in the same humiliating fashion, over and over again.
All these changes are, in my opinion not meant to make the game better - at all!
However, made to make it feel different as to say, we the devs are still working on Apex and bringing the players new changes and things to keep it fresh and from feeling the same and becoming monotonous. Also gives a false sense that the game's life is thriving still.
These changes will not make this game better, only different.
Better game = better servers, better audio engine, and less or no hackers and smurfs.
Like Recon said, no way in hell are these ever going to be rectified or implemented into a game that is over 4 years old with a declining player base.
Apex prime state is well long and gone.
