Matchmaking still broken, eh?

The beginning of this season brought a pretty major upgrade to the matchmaker... but from what I can tell it only really affects the left side of the bell curve. The farther left you go the tighter it gets. Which is really good for easing new players into the game. And for keeping lazy people, such as myself, from having to deal with people they'd rather not have to deal with. But the farther to the right you get the more things are "business as usual." My mmr has swung in the course of this one season from almost to the flat part of the left end of the curve all the way to the peak, slid back again a few notches, and then back to slightly right of center. I'm actively trying to get it back to the left, and part of that is laziness, but another part of it is a simple desire to get the tighter spreads, where the grey bar is 5-10% of the range. When at the peak of the curve the typical spread is more like 30-40% of the curve. Sorry, Respawn, but that's just lazy on YOUR part.
