Meaning of damage color
What does each color damage represent for body shots and head shots

No, you're right. Gold is a headshot. Anything else is the colour of the shield (unless it's a gold shield in which case the numbers come up purple). White with a red border means the shield is broken.
I just wish they would change the colour of gibbys arm shield, if its busy and theres a lot going on i always assume hes wearing white armour ☹️
