Mental Health Awarness Month

Hello, I was just wondering, we recognize all these other issues and get badges for them but not mental health. Mental Health awarness month is May and Mental Health problems show no bias to anyone and suicide is the 10th leading cause of death. My favorite is Wattson because I became aware the she has mental Health issues.

Mental Health is just as stigmatized as anything else but I just wanted to bring it up because I am a person who suffers from Mental Health conditions and Apex has been a big part of my life. I just thought maybe it would help give people hope.

  • @shtupurgnamakit I can't remember the exact details, but I had a discussion with one of the CM's about Mental Health awareness about a year ago. I know they are supportive of Mental Health but can't remember the exact details and don't want to accidentally say something that's inaccurate.

I personally make frequent donations to a US Mental Health nonprofit that provides mental health services to those who have difficulty accessing mental health care.

  • @WreckingVi big guys? What are you talking about?

@B3ntar Let me explain. Here in the US, hate crimes against Eastern Asian people have gone up because ignorant people kept calling the Corona virus, the China virus, because it originated from China. And people have been commiting violent acts against any Asians that appear Chinese. Much like when hate crimes went up against south Asians also known as Middle Easterns here in the US after 9/11.

Stop Asian Hate is a movement to quell the violence against Asian people for something they shouldn't be blamed for.
  • @B3ntar  Agreed, it would be a brilliant badge to have, my younger brother is also autistic.

@Lord_Scorpion34  Thanks for explaining that, I was also confused when the stop asian hate badge sprung up. In the UK its not really much of an issue either.

@Lord_Scorpion34 I was shocked that there were a lot of violent reactions against the BLM and stop asian badge here in the forums. I was not aware that supporting abused communities in the USA was something political? I know that Japanese people has some sort xenophobia (especially the older citizens) and some Filipinos are racists but not as a big of an issue compared to the States.
  • @Cheese9Man There is always some sort of hate everywhere. Either racial or religious. In USA it's worse because it's both.

People will blame Asians for virus, but then the same people will go on to hold church gatherings. Like bruh? I am not from USA, but that's what it looks like to me.

@Lord_Scorpion34 thanks for clearing that up to me.. here none of these issues exsist... so for us its like, HUH HATE? What hate?

i have a stop asian hate badge that i realy have no use for since its No issue here at all. same with BLM badge. some of my friends are Black.
me myself i'm 1/3 spanish 1/2 indonesian. there is just no hate here to people wearing a diferent skin collor.

sure there are always and everywhere those few people that hate just about anything. but they are such a Minority its not even worth mentioning.

but back on topic, mental health problems are world wide.
the problems people in need have can be little to some but so heavy on ones soul.. ☹️

from suicide to depressions, anxiaty, even fear to take one step outside of your own house.
and the sad thing is that all the above people are so Isolated that 95% of the world don't even know that they either exist or they dont see/recognise their problems.
