Go into your Origin library and right click on Apex Legends / properties. Make sure that Origin in game is enabled.
- I already did that
You could try deleting the Origin cache
Run Origin as administrator
Close down other programs running in the background that may use an overlay such as Steam.
Follow the cleanup section of my guide: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Networking-Guide-Opening-the-taps-and-cleaning-up/td-p/7526142
- I have the same problem, I just put it down to Origin being kinda trashy TBH.
- That did not work.
There is two overlay options in two different places.
check that they are both enabled:
right click apex and open game properties.
origin drop menu > application settings.
save changes and test game.
if the settings are already the same try run origin launcher in admin mode.
You could reinstall Origin.
- Tried that already
Thats fine just wanted to be sure you didnt miss one of the two locations.
Now navigate here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin
Right click Origin.exe and open properties.
toggle the fullscreen optimisations here:
then apply and test.
