click the playstation 5 controller below detected controllers,
click identify and back until you see library

click apex legends, manage game, controller configuration
below left bumper the arrow icon, click that and set it to the T key onthe keyboard, now you can speak into the ps5 controller if you want.
click done, then click back and exit big picture mode,
connect the ps5 controller to the usb 3 port on the pc, the fasted usb port you have on your pc.
i like to unplug other unnecessary things from the usb ports on the pc when i play,
you dont want to connect to a usb 2 port on the pc,
use a high quality usbc to usb a cable too amazon rating and spec will tell you, high data transfer,
a bad thing is to use a ps4 controller thats got gimpy sticks that squek as you move them and have stick drift and using a bad usb cord to a usb 2 port on the pc, its not going to be fun in the game.
next year i will get a gaming monitor and will update guide.
i tried the ps4 controller and sony back buttons and the aim assist wasnt gud on usb2 cable to usb port on squeeky controller with stick drift. playstation 5 controller is better.
