@Renegade_Prime86While I agree the game has taken a giant step the wrong way this season I don't think it will die at season 15. There is still time to fix the issues that were created. They could reset the buy ins and the levels to what they were easily.
Also people keep saying ranked is now like algs. No it isn't, it is worse! In algs a team can run edge, kill 8 people, finish seventh and get like 10 or 11 points for the round which is likely top 3 or 4 for the lobby in that game. In the current ranked system that team probably doenst break even. I'd like to make a comparison of ALGS points vs ranked points but the way kills work in ranked is so weird I look at it and immediately stop myself.
The issue is the lack of balance. It used to be fighters could still advance while having fun killing in ranked. That's now gone.
- 4 years ago@hayhor Bro, you are in this boat with me since the beginning, honestly, even if they do a reset or soft fix, will it save it? I am telling you as soon an a more interesting game will come out what people can grind, the player count will go down hill, let's face it, a lot of people play this game because there is nothing else and the actual game mechanic and so on are quite good, but people are fed up in general
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Renegade_Prime86 What game though? Every new BR is hyped and quickly dies. Some have even tried to emulate the movement and feel of apex and can't get it right.
Warzone 2 will not be it. The TTK will still be low cod style and people will still rat kills nonstop. Apex got the combination of movement, abilities and TTK right and until someone flat out copies it, Apex will still rule.
Actually the biggest threat is no build fortnite. I know Apex people who stopped with Apex and play that but it's not very many.- DankToliet4 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor Halo BR is our only chance for salvation. EA only cators to streamers and pro players. The Devs thirst over who gets to respond quicker on Twitter to Lulu whatever her name is. But never to their loyal players, the ones that are actually giving them money.
- 4 years ago@Renegade_Prime86 That is right, but it's that way with any game. I think many people are just waiting for something better bc pretty much every shooter rn sucks in some way. I've been playing a lot of other stuff recently and I don't miss the noise tbh. At this point it's all just getting old and boring like a revolving door, same issues, different day.

You're correct by saying some only play Apex Legends because it's the only thing they currently find interesting, because I'm one.
A) PUBG on my PC crashes too much to enjoy it.
B) Warzone - The time to kill is too fast to react to aim assist users so I don't play it.
C) Fortnite, Sesame Street BR, more like a babysitter Royale.
D) Halo, the worst feeling gameplay I've felt in a first person shooter in years, plus it ran like garbage while also looking like garbage.
I play Apex Legends for the movement based gameplay it offered in the beginning. I do not care, nor will ever care for the ranked mode. Once Respawn started making the core experience of Apex Legends into a campy drivin gameplay, I've been waiting for an exit title.
A) Campy Legends being Rampart, Wattson, Loba, Crypto, Caustic, Newcastle.
B) Campy items being Charge rifles, snipers made into their group and/ or crafting stations.
Respawn had a gem on their hands when the title was released, but let it get ruined by online personalities. I would actually love it if Apex Legends had a split where one side was Apex Legends based around movement based Legends and/ or abilities and the other based around trying to be competitive.I still to this day think Apex Legends 2019 was a superior product then what is currently offered.
