So do you think Rainbow6:Siege's success against cheaters was related to the non-F2P nature ?
Nope... Because people didn't care since you could get a key for 2,50$ usually sold by the same sites that sold cheats.
It was more their proactive approach at the end once they realized something needs to be done.
Their new anticheat tools automaticly flag people if something seems off like behavior patterns (too often pointing at walls or checking them where an ebemy is behind even there was no camera or drone use for example), takes screenshots if you got flagged and automaticly bans people who act too obvious, had ESP in their screenshot or did a mistake with their battleeye bypass (which isn't an easy task... That's why you don't get any public cheats for it only privat ones. The remaining publics are scams).
Additional they managed to get some smurf into the big private cheat sellers.
Basicly they don't wait for reports over reports and videoevidence, etc (what they did the first year, just like apex), they're very activ at fighting these people.... Because it's the only way to keep the cheater amount at a Minimum. Waiting for reports wont help at all
