Lately I am getting frustated with my performance on console. Lots of games go by with 0 kills, and when I get some its usually 1 or 2 at best. I rarely get above 4 and never managed to go beyond 7. I tried to look up some tips and tried different settings, but its no use. I think I hit a wall and feel like I cannot improve. I played about 10 hours today in BR but only managed to get like what, maybe 9 kills or so. I have been playing since season 5 but I still feel like a complete bot. My stats are awful. I honestly do not know what to do anymore or where to look at. Am I missing something here? What else should I try? Or should I just give it up and move on PC entirely, where things are going much better for me?

Ehi everyone so I wanted to report my matches today, and I can see a little improvement. I played 6 BR games in Trios.Game 1: 2 killsGame 2: 3 killsGame 3: 6 kills and game wonGame 4: 0 kills, 30 damage, JM landed us were 5 other squads already landed and looted. Respawn seriously needs to add a Jumpmaster course next to the firing range.Game 5: 0 kills but we made it in top 3. Also one of my teammates was level 13... and died early game.Game 6: 0 kills again, but we won the game and we had a missing teammate from the start. So out of these 6 games, I won 2. And I also got 6 kills in one of them. I hadn't got 6 kills in a long time. I am happy about these games, except for game 4 of course. Are you reading this, @maximas1986? Pls notice me senpai!This is an improvement over my previous sessions, which went more or less like this:Game 1: 0 kills, died early.Game 2: 0 kills, died mid-gameGame 3: 0 kills, JM lands us where 5 other squads already landed and looted.Game 4: 0 kills, played loot simulator for 20 minutes only to get trashed by the few remaining squads at the end.Game 5: 1 killGame 6: 0 killsGame 7: 2 kills, 50 damageGame 8: 0 killsAnd so on Another note, I still cannot control the recoil of the R-99, or the Devo. And I hate the Havoc because its so damn slow.

@AcidicSoda44031 if you want you can just add me and we can run few matches together or just do some firing range practice and share experience.i can not promise you anything except for maybe you will feel better about yourself after you witness my AMAZING performance :D

@AcidicSoda44031 If pc is better for you and you have that option then just stick with that . But if you want to persevere with console then I guess just reevaluate your gameplay .The points that come to mind to think about are ; play style , legend choice, weapon choice and solo queue vs squad.You can also just record your gameplay and rewatch it to see what mistakes you make , that might help you out .All that being said though, if your doing just fine on pc then maybe it’s just that your more comfortable with that setup and the change is throwing you off ?

The points that come to mind to think about are ; play style , legend choice, weapon choice and solo queue vs squad.

You can also just record your gameplay and rewatch it to see what mistakes you make , that might help you out .

All that being said though, if your doing just fine on pc then maybe it’s just that your more comfortable with that setup and the change is throwing you off ?

@AcidicSoda44031 Just take a break or play less... you can also do long time playing firing range without playing BR or Arena just to improve your abilities or get more confident

@MassiveVernon ok, maybe I should give some background. You need to know that I started on console. I have been on controller/console for 17 years now. Only about 10 months ago I decided to give MnK/PC a go. I sucked at first, but improved over time.

Now, in those 17 years I 95% played offline. Occasionally I did Co-op with some friends in campaigns like Halo. Or a local deathmatch in CoD. But that's about it. I only started to get more engaged in online play last year. Before that, last time I played online that I could remember was in 2012 shortly after Halo 4 came out.

That said, I started Apex back in season 5 because 1 of my friends invited me in. I had no idea what the game even was, but since I had an online pass, I said why not? So I downloaded it, I liked it and there my Apex journey begins.
I sucked then. But that was ok, I was new after all. Thing is, I still suck now, but I am looking to improve. I just do not know how I can do that, I tried so many things, I am clueless. I still get some 0 kill games on PC, but its nowhere near the amount I get on console.

@AcidicSoda44031 Ahhh I see . Well don’t be so hard on yourself then , compared to the most of us you’re lacking in experience with multiplayer . Even if it’s completely different games from apex it all contributes .

When it comes to apex though idk what to suggest other than what I said earlier . What is it in particular that your struggling the most with ? General aim , looting speed , movement etc ?
Just need to look at what your doing and focus on one thing to improve on at a time .

Also you need to bare in mind how awful the sbmm is currently and that you’re probably going up against players way better than you most of the time . Sometimes this is a good thing as it forces you to improve, but on the other hand sometimes you need to be able to have the chance to play against people of your own skill to get a foot on the ladder .

@AcidicSoda44031 This video by sooxfar might help a bit. Been practicing the jumping/moving shield swap on console and it's really hard. Sooxfar is really one of the best controller players out there for sure. Be patient with yourself in improving. YOU GOT THIS!

@pandareno1999 You jump then quickly, while on the air, you open the death box and swap before you fall on the ground. It’s in sooxfar’s video.
