Honestly, WM/PK don't bother me nearly as much as before, I will take a PK 1 in every 5 games-ish but it's almost always an R99 or R301 (prioritising the R301 which is simply an amazing weapon at medium ranges and even close-up).
Before now, I used to play Spitfire and lost over & over again to the Wingman Players out there.
However, as time went on I've learned how to deal with Wingman or Peacekeeper players using the Spitfire...
Peacekeeper is easier to handle, simply watch their shots & time when their next one will come, then either Jump or slide, and you can dodge most shots, while reloading the R301 for another round of shots, or an R99, or in between Spitfire shots.
As for the Wingman Players VS my Peacekeeper this is what I do, and what most Spitfire Players should do, when coming up against a Wingman Player:
1st option:
You want to hipfire wherever possible, as if they are too far (meaning you have to ADS) abandon the fight as you WILL lose with a Spitfire VS a Wingman at medium range where you're forced to ADS.
Get in closer, or run away/get a better, different, angle or something.
2nd option, if up really close VS a Wingman, I find the best tactic to hipfire with the Spitfire BUT you want to stop hipfire shooting every 3-5 shots, while you're strafing, this is to throw your opponent off by varying your movement speed, as if you just try to empty your 60-round-clip of Heavy Ammo, you will die, as your predictable movement pattern & speed makes you vulnerable.
This works like a charm, and I've killed many Wingman Players on those few occasions that I happened to carry a Spitfire and my R301's clip was fully dispensed.
It works..try it out...but now I do not fear the Wingman/Peacekeeper Players as much as I did before..they don't scare me as much.
Just my own opinion. 🙂
