@S53CTR07 True, the passive could be tricky but the downside would be that you can't move quickly or shoot.
@MandatoryIDtag yeah, you shouldn't be able to shoot as fast once you stop healing. reviving as-well.
I recently started playing octane as-well; i also believe he could use a tweak, not so much a buff, a tweak. He's okay, not good, just okay - and compared to gibraltar, he is weak.
Octane needs to have his tactical tweaked, maybe he could gain shield every time he uses it, or he just runs faster, or takes less health.

@S53CTR07 TheGamingMerchant released a video claiming that Octane would also be receiving a buff S5.
Now obviously both this and the mirage ability roster i posted aren't confirmed 100% but if they are accurate it's good to see respawn finally taking note of player requests to buff these legends, even if it would have taken over a year. XD
- @MandatoryIDtag I don’t know if he really needs a huge buff. He’s not particularly bad, he just does not offer a ton to the team.
@DarthValtrex For me just buffing his jump pads velocity with a 30% speed boost for 5 seconds on landing would do the job, the arc is too predictable, so at least if you jumped hella fast you'd be harder to hit.
People say "Octane brings nothing to the team" but he does,pressure. If you've ever played with a good Octane you'll know exactly what i mean.
- @MandatoryIDtag The devs only confirmed about fixing his hitbox. Octane buff is pure speculation on his part.
@BaldWraithSimp Yeah man, that's why i said not to take what i say as fact. We just don't know how things will pan out until the patch arrives, wouldn't be the first time respawn bamboozled the community. 😛
