There was a limited time mode during Season 3 or 4 where you automatically respawned after the ring finished moving(assuming at least one member of your squad was alive, of course).
But really, if you want modes like 6v6 domination or live fire, the best place to do that is in Titanfall 2. I do kind of wish this game had a campaign or something like that, because I thought the quests were pretty cool, or maybe short missions based on events in each Legend's backstory.

But I agree with EdiiNn, there needs to be a game-mode in Apex that is a little less all or nothing than a BR. The Winter Express was a perfect example and was a lovely breath of fresh air from regular Trios. Something new like the WE would go down so nicely as a permanent mode in Apex.

- Here I am to kill your enjoyment 🙂. Rampart with a turret and defensive shields on the train? I have some doubts with Loba as well for that mode...
I do want the Winter Express back, it was among my favorites, but I feel it might not be worth the trouble for a week's play...
