I know this might be confusing to follow so just ask questions if you have any!
Class: Skirmisher
Passive: Gauged Cooldown
(See tactical first)
Your tactical runs off a unique cooldown system featuring an energy gauge.
- Pressing down on the d-pad will start your cooldown timer. the length of your cooldown is dependent on how much energy is left in the gauge upon pressing the button.
- There are 3 different cooldown lengths and they would be shown by segments on the gauge.
- If you press down on the d-pad when you are still within the first segment of the gauge, your cooldown will be 15 seconds.
- Pressing down on the d-pad while in the second segment will result in a 25 second cooldown.
- pressing down on the d-pad when in the third segment, or If you run your energy out completely will give you a large cooldown of 35 seconds.
TACTICAL: Kinetic Floor
Project an energy floor beneath you that allows you to cross gaps and create new pathways.
- Holding the tactical button (or toggling depending on your settings) will create a energy floor beneath you and to where ever you run while its active. If you run off an edge while this is active you will not drop, you will instead start creating a floating pathway at that height. It can also be activated in midair.
- All pathways created will remain there until you initiate your cooldown (see passive ability), allowing for teammates (or enemies) to follow your new path.
- Crouching or sliding while the tactical is active will make the path descend at a 45 degree angle which allows you to create a downhill path for you and your team to slide down for high speed. Un-crouching will level out the path again.
- Holding the jump button while the tactical is active will do the opposite and create an ascending path at a 45 degree angle, allowing you to make a pathway to gain high ground quickly.
- Bullets can pass through the bottom of these paths so you gotta be weary of enemies below you. You cannot shoot through them from the top.
ULTIMATE: Overcharge
Super charge your kinetic floors, giving anyone who walks on them increased speed. (+ Extra energy to make more kinetic flooring)
- Two different ways to activate.
- Activating the ult without any kinectic floors active will give you a full gauge of super charged energy.
-Activating the ult with kinetic floors already active will change them from normal to super charged paths.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- If you jump off a high point, hold (or toggle) crouch and hold the tactical button, you will grant yourself a speedy getaway/movement tool. (Especially when super charged)
- Crouch walk/hold jump button while holding the tactical button and turning can create a corkscrew like path that would be useful to create shortcuts to different floors in places such as the zipline building on worlds edge.
- Save energy by creating a path, letting go of the tactical button and jumping, then creating another path. Remember your cooldown doesn’t start until you say so or you run out of energy.
- If you notice an enemy following your path, you can activate your passive to make them drop. (Maybe off a cliff)
