Cannot Link EA Account to New PSN/LIVE CHAT ISSUES

Subject: Can’t Link EA Account to New PSN / Live Chat Not Available

Hi EA Support,

I’m trying to link my EA account to my new PSN account, but I keep getting an error that says:

"Linked account found. Cannot be linked because this EA account was used to link the account 'case_the_bag'."

That PSN account is old and I no longer have access to it. I already removed it from my EA account. Now I’m stuck and can’t link my new PSN account.

I tried to open a support case, but the chat crashed. When I tried to resume the case, it froze, then closed. I’ve been trying to get help, but now I can’t find any way to contact support. There is no live chat or email option anymore. The homepage only shows the Apex Legends Cross Progression article and the AI assistant, which is no help.

Please help me unlink the old PSN or fix this so I can connect my current PSN.

    Hello sheluvssdai​,

    EA has a rule that only one platform account of a kind can be linked to an EA account in its lifetime, even if you unlink the accounts.

    You might be able to contact Support (try a different browser or device if you're having issues) and explain your situation there. They might be able to make an exception and link the accounts for you, but there's no guarantee for that.

    I've contacted them via email did a whole case still  gotten no response or anything and I it seems like the page maybe got a rework from last time how it was on Monday because the support page did not look like this  but still can't create any case or get any from of live agent support.... Here is a screenshot of the error i keep getting over and over i can't get no type of help forms is useless because I need a ea agent worker or a working case ii can update but i can't this is very annoying when this is a triple A company that makes millions maybe even billions and can't get a working support page with live agent that should be 1st thing working is your support...

  • Whenever I try to file for support I just get an error. It says "Contact EA Help cannot help with that" and then another error pops up. I can't get proper support through normal channels. I'm trying to link my EA account (for Apex Legends) to my current PlayStation Network (PSN) account but I'm running into an issue. A long time ago I linked my EA account to a different PSN account which I no longer have access to. I removed that old PSN from my EA account but when I try to link my current PSN it gives me this error: "Linked account found. Cannot be linked because this EA account was used to link the account 'case_the_bag'." It looks like the old PSN is still associated and I can't move forward. I filled in all the required info and it still doesn't work.

    There  IS NO reason FOR EA TO SAY

    "This issue isn't supported by advisors. It tells me to check help resources or visit EA Forums"

     But my problem i need a real support agent Please let me speak to someone who can actually help with account linking because i can't edit my case or open a new report or case...  I ALREADY HAVE A CASE also its BEEN OPEN FOR 3 DAYS NO RESPONES NOTHING PLESASE HELP ME i can't get in support with ea i just want my xbox stuff on my psn dawg. or if you see this can you tell a ea worker to help me iv'e even went as far as sending them a dm on the EA help on x but only got a bot response...
