It still says 2 minutes! Now I got a 20 minute penalty! Despite one teammate already had left and the other 7 might as well not have been there! ******* stupid!
@CCbathwaterWith how short Control matches are, it doesn't really make sense to take a 10 min penalty, when most of my matches are right around that long. Even when my team ends up outnumbered every now and then, it only takes a few minutes to finish the "batting practice" and queue up for another one. I have decent luck with my lobbies though, so I guess I can understand the frustration, if you keep getting stuck short-handed over and over.
Imo, if you are down by 3 or more people, you shouldn't get the penalty. Losing 2 people definitely doesn't mean it's a lost match, provided the remaining team mates are actually playing the..... objective!! That's the hard part though. Getting randoms to NOT treat it like TDM, and actually play the objective
So, if the game is massively outnumbered, there is already a mechanic in place. You can get a lockdown on the opposite team by controlling 3 points. You're going to do that if you are super outnumbering a team most times, unless, frankly, the outnumbering team is really, really bad while the fewer in number are really, really good. Which is so rare I wouldn't be concerned.
Really, the penalty has to be something that matters. No, it should definitely not tell you to wait 2 minutes than hit you with 20. But if it isn't a 10+ minute penalty I doubt it would matter, especially since you aren't suffering some other penalty like a ranked point loss.
Stick with the games, they aren't that bad. And again, if you are super outnumbered, then it'll be over soon anyway.
This is so stupid. Again sbmm ***** me over. Now I'm just gonna watch the news waiting on my team to lose. It's bad enough the intro screens in this game last for 2 minutes before the game begins, and now this waste of time.
@CCbathwater Bruh, while I won't play ranked with team mates because I would absolutely torture them (ask LordScorpion, who is solid peoples), I would happily join you in a team of 3 for Control. And we would conquer the universe. Maybe the great LordScorpion could join us.
