I've always wondered why this is.If you down an enemy and then you and your squad die and the downed enemy gets killed it says eliminated on the screen but you don't get kill credit. This happens if you're still watching the squad that killed you and haven't left the game.If you leave the game then the person who kills the already downed enemy gets the kill credit but they don't get kill credit if the person who downed them is still watching so then nobody gets the kill credit.

@Marge010 I thought that you no longer get credit for kills/assists once your whole team is dead and you start spectating? Then the kill goes to whoever finishes/kills the players? I cant remember, because the people I knock as I get knocked, usually get rez'd before my randoms can do anything productive

@dSKyNafinchin You don't get kill credit when your whole squad is dead. The kill only goes to whoever finishes your downed player if you have left the game. If you're still watching then the finisher doesn't get kill credit, nobody does.

@Marge010I don't think your spectacting theory is true at all. The player who thirsts gets the credit if the person who downed him is dead, even if you are spectacting.(yes you do get the eliminated msg, but it will not actually add to your stats)

@hayhor If you down an enemy and someone else kills them, you get kill credit if your squad is still alive. You don't have to kill an enemy to get kill credit

@Marge010 Because your team is alive. If your whole squad is dead you are not in the game any more.

@Marge010Hey! So there is a certain pattern that needs to be done in order for those kills to record for you or the enemy. Even if you had people knocked and then die you will not get credit for those kills because you are dead. If the enemy who kills you then runs up and thirsts the downed guys they will get the kills. What you had seen in your video is the person had killed the one popping the res. So in order for the knocked people record as a kill he would of needed to thirst the one being res then kill the res person for 2 kills. It will display eliminated when you kill the person who is popping a res it just indicates a team wipe. You can though steal kills in a way just thirsting knocked people first.

@BaldWraithSimp If he went for the downed player first he wouldn't get kill credit because I was still watching. If I had left the game and then he killed the downed player, then he would get kill credit.

I need to try get 2 videos showing this but it rarely happens so would take a while

@E9ine_AC Only if the player that downed them has left the game. That's my point of this thread.

In the video if the bloodhound had thirsted the players I had downed he wouldn't get kill credit because I was still watching. If I had left the game then he would get the kill credit for thirsting

I'm gonna really try and get some more proof of this

@Marge010 Ehh I play around 8-12 hours a day and it always records my kills on thirsted people. There is a pattern that has to be done it is not because you was watching him. It simply was because the person being res is who died first not the one being res.

@E9ine_AC I've seen it happen a few times but not often where I've thirsted a downed player and not got the kill credit even when the squad that downed them had already been killed and there were only 1 other squad left.

@Marge010 Yea you would need to post a video of that. I put a lot of time into apex and im a sweat bald wraith who thirsts and kills everyone even if I did not knock them. I def get mine and people i spectate at times do get my kill of someone I have knocked. So it would be pretty isolated issue.
