No teamates remaining, still recieves a penalty.

After this new Season 3 update, ive notice how leaving a game early gave me a 5min penalty for abonding my teammates. (THANK GOODNESS). BUT this later led to it getting in the way and not really correctly executed. the logic behind it seems more like for everytime, for any reason, the button "Exit" is pressed will grant you a penalty of 5 min and just doubling every time

the first penalty was on my behalf for not wanting to stay with the type of squadmates since they were, lets just say bad. and really ignoring the fight the whole time (while i was getting third partied left and right. and the other two penalty was non avoidable. leaving the game AFTER my teammates were all killed. and yet i still get a punishment for leaving my dead teammates???.

    I feel you, I also got multiple penalties. I am not leaver by no means. 2 times my banner was basically behind the ring and no one was going to go grab it. So I just hit exit, then spacebar multiple times, because I hate the post battle summaries and stuff. I was too  quick to realize I HAVE to stay in match, even though there was no chance for me to be revived.

    The last penalty I got was that right after landing we got trashed. I was dead, teammates in "revive" stance. One probably had resurrection shield, which I didn't realize. I just hit exit and again, as those afte-rmatch screens are annoying me. I just smash through them without reading them. Yep. Another penalty. I am pretty sure that my teammates got executed like 10 seconds after I left. There is just no point to add penalty, if the whole squad dies within 10 seconds.

    Please stop saying "I got a week ban for no reason." You literally build up the time with each ban so you've seen it every time you leave. Stop acting like it's an innocent mistake and own up to your poor decisions.

    @Vladplaya"Also if I am like really pissed at randos I am playing with, I will leave no matter what, penalty or not, and I am pretty sure quite few people feel the same at least once in a while" always blaming the teammates and yet, i have the feeling you're that good in solo

    @hpsodiumit seems ridiculous to not play in team then quit

    Just had the same bs happen, on my first game. now I get to wait 80 minutes. Respawn doesnt seem to care though

    This is a real stupid thing because I have had it in Season 3 and now again in Season 8.  After All of us got killed I pressed the return to lobby (Esc) and I got a penalty?  why?????????  And when I play Trios, so little I get a game with a full squad, if I wanted to play duos I would choose it, dont start a server untill all squads are full!!  And the penalty I agree with but not when all are dead FIX it!!!!
