I would say Fragments is the problem, then, and not World's Edge.
WE is still my favorite map, though for a while there I kind of thought it might be Olympus (I still love Olympus, but the new Olympus has lost its edge. Truth is, the new WE lost it over the original too).
There's been a lot of requests to nuke Fragments. But there's always going to be a favorite zone to drop into. Instead of nuking it, reduce the loot there and people will both hate it and stop dropping there.
Or, like, put land mines in there. That might be even better :D

There is a theory to the logic of leaving a steaming hot drop zone for all those who want to put their face into the pile.
But I'd redesign it. A while ago I promoted the idea of a small room where everybody could just jump into and have a fistfight. Sort of like the lab on King's Canyon but without the whole charade of a story behind it. Just a big plain room for all the steaming hot drop you could ever want to get warm in and everybody who wants to can go there. Nobody can get out until one team wins and they get the price of a gold P2020 each.

Now imagine how much harder it would be for most people to win a match if all us hot droppers spread out and played every match like it was a tournament lol.
12 squad final circles would be the next complaint.

If teams spread out they'd still fight naturally during the game but maybe it would be better because teams would have stuff. Pro ranked doesnt end up like algs at all but is well balanced. Teams spread out and then take on fights. Watching Rogue it rarely comes down to more than 3 or 4 teams at end circle.
