  • Hmm, how exactly does that flicker look like? Although I guess I'll only consider updating if I ever see something like that, since from my experience it's always best to stay on very old drivers that seem to have no problems XD.

@Biochemikas You can always revert to previous drivers, no? But it's often true that latest drivers end up breaking things that worked fine before.
  • Yeah, my policy is to never update what's working already. I'm just wondering if I am experiencing that problem or not (well I'm sure that if I am, then it's quite unnoticeable).

Reverting drivers is possible, but it's a needless waste of time: install new drivers -> test -> experience problems (which may take time to even notice) -> flush drivers clean -> install what you already had before.

P.S. I will hold on to my windows8.1 (not updated either) for as long as I possibly can... XD Everything is working fine, and when you think about it, it's a complete miracle, when Windows are involved.

  • I was getting some weird occasional flickering when in smoke (I was really looking hard for it since your last post), so I installed the previous latest version (that was supposed to fix it) and I got considerably MORE flickering XD (and I don't even need to look for it now - every time i'm in smoke, sometimes when outside the zone). So I'm getting sceptical about these "fixes" XD. I guess I'll still try the new fix, since the previous lastest driver is really bad, but I'll probably have to revert to my old 2018 (pre-Apex) driver, that was working best.
