Forum Discussion
1) too lazy to scroll down and see if a same topic’s already been made
2) don’t know how forums work and as such dont even know proper etiquette to search for similar posts
3) think what they’re saying is different from the other thread(s) regarding the same topic
But yea, it clutters up fast

Thought someone would rant about @Koochi-Q posts but nope, you get away this time.
Most people are just new and like said above, people are new to the forums and don't know how or what.
But hey more ways to get XP and get that post count up, see the thing on the bright side of life 😉 - 6 years agoHi @Koochi-Q.
Call me newbie, but at times I find it difficult to find matches for the exact same thing I want to post about (and I only started 10 topics so far...).
Then on the opposite side (but because of inefficient search ) what happens sometimes is that people revive necro-posts because the search engine is not good enough. It could filter out 6 months old posts and have the option to turn it off in case we want to broaden the search.
So, for either situation, that could prevent people from starting new topics, just because or revive necros.- hayhor6 years agoHero
Crap I wish I had seen this earlier!

@Kabouki1965 That's a valid point and a good suggestion.
What these guys are referring to in this case though is say for example i author a topic titled
"Pathfinder nerf was too much"
What often happens is rather than post on this topic, despite it being near the top of the screen, they'll go and post their own topic with exactly the same subject matter and a near identical topic title.
So you end up with a continuous stream of the same topic and it's a bit spammy.
- GH0STEDbyME6 years agoHero@Kabouki1965 Completely agree. Sometimes it's hard to find exactly the same kind of thread but other times you're stuck in between deciding to revive something or finding something similar and risk going slightly off topic lol.
The search does blow huge chunks. The forum could be a lot easier to use and I've seen better organised ones on other providers.
@MandatoryIDtag A bit spammy? The worst one I'm seeing atm is people crying over no hit reg. The amount of threads there are on the first two pages alone is ridiculous. I might just start posting the links to the more answered threads of the same topic.
