You guy should consider removing the passive health regen from Octane, then switching the resource used to move fast to armor and giving no passive regen at all. The speed move should be used strategically right now it is spammable. Octane also gets way more bag space he is not required to carry health, it is like he gets to speed around for free. Once you get a red/purple/yellow shield you need to blow that down before every getting to their hp. @Lampwrecker2 His passive does not replace the need for carrying meds. His hitbox is of medium size, same as Bangalore and Bloodhound. His tactical is the only that takes away HP, so he has passive regen. Why would every character have it?

@Lampwrecker2 Out of interest have you tried stim spamming as octane in his current state?The regen certainly isn't quick enough to negate the health lost so there are actually very few scenarios where stim spam would be the correct course of action. 🙂I'll agree it can be annoying to deal with but I wouldn't consider it unbalanced personally.

Maybe I also have an unpopular opinion but he is not over the top.What Octane is, and Pathfinder, and Wraith, and Ash and Mirage, are legends that people biase because you don't have to really work with anyone at all to use them, combined with that in any shooting game, getting not hit is the best defense. Bangalore is all right at it, Loba even better on her own but doesn't have an R1 that really matters as much in combat.Any character that does not need a team mate to work, even in a team game, is going to get all the attention.It's another reason why Respawn is off the deep end about abandoning their defensive characters. And this is aside from all the grief that scan characters cause. Octane is fine, but his most important ability? 'I totally ignore what you are doing, team mate, and run off on my own!' It's really his second passive ability.

EDIT I need to correct something I said above. Octane will not regenerate health while taking or right after taking health damage. Shield damage will not stop his passive from working.

It doesn't matter it is not one thing Octane can do it is all the things in one package with a really small hit box. Fastest Charter great at everything and gets extra bag space for granades. If the passive heal is no big deal give it to ever character.

@Lampwrecker2 You still have to carry just as many meds as every other character. I suggest trying to use him with no meds carried.

Talking with a caustic profile picture. . Caustic needs a nerf in his current state when you go in the smoke it's not even walk speed what you get plus you can't see sht etc. It's disgusting. Try to stim as an octane in gas and you are dead. . You clearly don't play octane if you don't know how is it to be an octane. It takes a lot of damage to use the stim. With your logicless logic Caustic should get 20 damage when he is using his gas. . lol Oh and when you are outside when 3rd ring closing and you stim you almost insta die.

the only problem with him and all other legends at some degree is he too often make no sound cue when running at people like a maniac while high on drug. So many situation I got third partied by him and I only realize it after he shoot me right next to my ear

@ApexHateSoloQers The point of caustic gas is to deter people from entering it. It is literally his only advantage. He is twice the size of octane and cannot run fast or jump away. Octane is the easiest legend to play on this game.
