It is not about avoiding fights. It is about minimizing RNG at the very beginning. Just make sure to at least have a fighting chance, then take all fight you want- hayhor4 years agoHero@Vdstrk I'm not a hot dropper but I will agree with E9 that dropping hot will improve the speed you do everything.
One thing to note- There is a difference between dropping hot right on the same building as 4 teams fighting for the exact same gun and dropping edge of that spot grabbing a few items and then rushing. This is better and it is what E9 did with me when we played. Was fun and I enjoyed the challenge.- Vdstrk4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@hayhor
Ah, when you say dropping hot, most players do drop along other 5 or 6 teams.
When you say dropping nearby is a different thing for sure.
Another issue. Players do drop ONTO each other. Because no one wanna drop hot in the first sense, and be singled out and erased. So, they outloot each other and get unavoidably erased.
I cannot count how many time this happens to me, as a jump master I cannot push other players away. so they drop on me, and for some reason I am the one who has some lag on drop, while they proceed and vacuum anything on their path, die with 2 guns and 0 damage.While I have 2 knockdowns with punches, and 0 kills.... and my k/d gets dented.... and I feel worse every time, and feel like poking a hole in my screen lol
Because, "Steamer A said that is the way you do it!!!!"
But what htey ignore is that streamer A has 15 years of CS:GO competitive experience, and they did not drop hot a single time in CS. As a matter of facts.
