Only master/preds in my lobbies

I've stoped playing this game for the last 6 months because I'm tired of dying to masters and preds every game I'm playing.

I started again since the back to origins mode is out.

Man this is worse... I have a platinum level and I only face preds and masters I'm just tired and have absolutely no fun playing this game.

I love apex and wanna play this game so bad but it's simply unplayable.

What's is going on ? Am I the only one ? Help !

    @robinbkk Well if you are already Platinum 1 week and a half in it means you are potentially a Master. There is not enough Diamonds right now to fill preds and masters lobbies.

    Sorry if I wasn't clear enough but I only played the "origins" game mode for the past 4 days after a 6 months break

    What I meant is that I usually had a plat 3/4 level  when I used to play the game a lot.

    I mostly played mm and always encounter preds or master players

    One of the following must be true:

    1. You are better than you think you are.
    2. The game thinks you are better than you are.
    3. The game thinks you'll keep queueing up even if you can't handle the lobbies you're being put in.

    I find that #1 is sometimes true. #2 is almost never true. #3 is almost always true.
