Opinions on Sentinel sniper rifle
So what are your opinions on Sentinel sniper rifle? Personaly i think something is lacking. The best thing it has ATM is bullet travel time, damage is good but not great. Charging it with shield batt...

@tommor1988 There has already been some discussion about changing it from shield battery, to cells. I think that would be a solid improvement.
I’m with you, I prefer the longbow and G7. They are just better overall guns IMO.
The gun is a starting point. They’ll gather feedback and data then buff/nerf accordingly. I was landing headshots for 120 damage with the Sentinel. If they have blue armor one more tap to the body and they are knocked... If me and a squad mate are shooting at the same target they are done almost instantly.
But overall I feel like mid and longe range guns in this game just won’t be popular unless they have 1 shot knock capabilities like the kraber. The majority of the fights are in short/mid range.
