@Swarth2300Nope nope nope. He should be damaged by his tact and here’s why.
Caustic is unfazed by his gas as he’s a defensive fat guy so he’s still vulnerable. It’s also time and proximity delayed but can be shot to activate or shot down to dissipate. + when gas goes off, most know to back off.
Bang is not hurt by her canisters cause she ends up hurting herself (visually) anyways if she’s not ADSing with digithreat. It’s also an indication for “hey there’s a bang here somewhere that’s either running away or healing” in most cases.
Fuze as an attacker, what would the downside be if not hurt by his tact? Absolutely nothing. He can full on push in his tact while others take cover, the area isn’t large so it’s not obv seen from great distance + it sort of stuns the enemy. + deployment is fast and can cover a wide distance.
So no, I’m opposed to having him being impervious to his tact. This is coming from a guy who has played him extensively and knew I would since his abilities were mentioned.
- 5 years ago@Koochi-Q that is fair enough, honestly i dont think it would make a huge difference i mean early on sure it would be helpful but later on it doesnt do enough damage to really change much, could help in those very close fights but when you got purple or better armour you get hit by a fuse tactical and you can pretty much shrug it off, its really minimal damage at that point, if both people have not picked up armour and one is hit by a fuse tactical then that is a different story
on the rest of the replies its interesting to read people's thoughts on him, his ult is very hit or miss for me, my first ever kills with him was a team wipe where i took out 3 of the enemy team with my ult and i just had to shoot the last one, but other than that usually his ult doesnt really do that much, maybe i am just terrible with it but its very hit or miss for me(usually miss) but its charge time really isnt that bad(it charges pretty fast)
i never really carried nades until i started using fuse, being able to stack 2 gives me justification to use them(i know all legends could have done that early on but i didnt use nades back then) proves very helpful when pushing a building and i do love challenging snipers with my nades, snipers dont expect a arc star to the face- 5 years ago
@Swarth2300It’s like Caustic’s trap in the beginning. If someone doesn’t have shield and they’re close, they’re dead cause 1 KC and 2 punches is down (btw KC does 50 dmg on stuck @EdwardDLuffy on non-low profile). Afterwards it’s a great move to flush out, damage or flush in... Can’t tell you how many times ppl were in the open and like cattle I herded them towards where I wanted and ulted or naded the hell out of that place (is especially fun when you’re 100m away and it works or when you lure them into the bike shed/bust stop and just cut them off with 2 arc stars on both sides & then nades or thermites... Like WHY would you... if you know KC is used at you go into a small confined space where this character shines! XD).
Also I use it as a tracker. I’m quite proficient with ordnances and stuff so usually when I use it I stick ppl with it, even from a distance. I’ve yet to see someone get stuck by it who charges at me. If they’re running away, that means easy shootings or at least tracking as I know where that person is. They usually look the way they came and usually I go the other way and still shoot them in the back while they’re topping up like the coward that I am.
I’ve always used lots of ordnances. Before fuze I used to carry 2-4 arc stars cause I like crowd control/flushing. Now I usually have 6 arcs and 2 nades or 8 arcs.
His ult isn’t about dmg but crowd control. Use it as that and you’ll be successful if you know how to aim. You need to be elevated to have it work cause if ppl are higher up than you, you’ve already lost. Use it not to dmg but trap a woundedanimallegend and finishithim off. With a Horizon or octane or path it can work wonders. You can also use it as a ‘ring negotiator’. You know the Ring doorbell right? You see who’s there and even hear them. Well this is similar, but slightly different. I call it the Ring Negotiator because an enemy/enemies needs to think. Would they rather take lots of ring damages, die by the ring or get hurt by my ult (+ still take ring damage... and if I’m gatekeeping bullet damage). This only works in ring 1/2 out in the open or if enemy is in the building or ring 3 or higher... basically any time.
Good thing about his ult is that it’s a tracking skill as you see where they’re getting hurt ^.^
If you do want to use it damagingly use it with caustic. Out in the open. No escape.- 5 years ago@Koochi-Q honestly that is a very good point, i mean it really depends on when it is in the match, sometimes the tactical doesnt really do enough damage late game for people to bother moving away from it(depends on a lot of different circumstances though), that is a good plan to use it as a tracker its never something i thought about(i have used his tactical as a distraction to lead a team in another direction) also that is a good point about his ult, i still think maybe it needs to do slightly more damage to be better at cc, a lot of the time just running through the fire is better than standing in the ring waiting for the fire to go
honestly a lot of good tips i can use to make better use out of fuse so thank you for that
