When you look at every other Legend in the Recon class, they can either scan, highlight, or give you more Intel on enemies. Path can't really do any of that right now. The most he can do is tell you where the next ring is & that's it. Which begs the question, do you change his class or keep him in the category & give him an ability where he can give you Intel on enemies?
It's amazing how he can land right on top of you without a sound 😃
It's an easy sound to miss I guess, but it's very distinctive. I feel like I can hear a Pathy grappling two buildings over if there's not a lot of noise happening, sort of like how you can hear the zipline in streamer building from the far side of train station. Figuring out which direction I need to look in as quickly as possible is another story,
They could nerf something and add some sort of recon ability, but I don't think any Path mains would want that. If you add something to his kit, he could be too good. He might just be in a good place rn, in terms of overall value of what his skills provide.
A good Pathfinder is the most annoying to fight in the game. You hit him... zoom, he's gone. He hits you mid-range, bam, he's insta on top of you. A **** Pathfinder player however is like... can't you just play someone cringe, like Valk, instead, bro?
Passives are generally inconsistent abilities in Apex Legends. For example, Revenant uses his SILENCE and turns off passives for Valkyrie and Crypto, but does not turn off passives for Seer or Bloodhound. Same for Lifeline – she can still revive teammates.
