@Wreck_It_LopersOf course camping will never be eliminated, but the problem lies in the fact that camping, in the current state of the game and directly attributable to the lack of disengage/strong engage options, is THE optimal strategy with minimal direct counterplay. I just think it's rather telling that when we had bhop heal as an option, quick rotations and good mechanics were winning tournaments and contests, and now that all that's gone, we see 13 people in second to last ring all sitting in Wattson fields with so many fences that there were literally issues with rendering all of them.
Edit: Again though, this isn't just about bhop heal-- This is about their proclivity to nerfing movement across the board. It's only going to exacerbate the camping problem, not solve or combat it. Steps need to be taken in the opposite direction, and if nerfs need to happen to PF it's to his ult generation rate, not to his grapple.
@NudgarrobotCampers are going to camp, no matter what. You can give them all gold armor and all gold weapons and they will camp it out. And I disagree on not having strong engage or disengage options. For engaging being able to hear a fight going on half way across the map gives you a tactical advantage. And as far as retreat options/disengage between Wraith's portal, Pathfinders Zipline, Smoke from Bangalor..... you've got multiple exit strategies. I guess I am not sure what you are exactly requesting other then the Bhop option. Which even if you are Bhoping I am gonna shoot you square in the back. So again not sure what you are requesting as a fix for your perceived issue with the game meta. Not trying to argue with you I just don't understand.
Honestly I think a lot of people don't fight and "camp" because as soon as they do a third party comes in after hearing the fight occur. Maybe reducing the sound of gunfire fixes your issue and people would be more apt to fight? I don't know.

@Wreck_It_Lopers with regards to the whole crypto debate...there are players who want to play more aggressively but dont want to be third partied in every gunfight.
Now the drone tactical gives teams a solid overview of the the area they're in, pinging hostiles that may be in the area.....if you're able to pinpoint a camping squads location and then wipe out their traps/fences and half their shields with a stun to boot this is going to make for a brutal breach and clear tactic.
If this gets utilized effectively on a widespread scale people will probably avoid camping confined spaces.
Purely conjecture obviously as we don't know what will happen yet but i'm guessing that's probably somewhere in the region of what gabriel is thinking. 😛
@MandatoryIDtagIndeed, throw up that drone prior to engaging in a gun fight, and it remains active at all times. If communication is present within said team, surely Crypto should re-engage his drone for a potential 3rd party rush (granted you win said fight). Easier said then done, but it's definitely a plausible option to counter 3rd parties.
