Your aim doesn’t suck, you’re just getting merc’d by aim assist. What a plague in this game. Let PC players turn off cross play and disable controller aim assist for pc players EA.

@Ghosted_Waffle Aim assist is basically aim bot at close range. No matter how you move or what you do if he knows what he's doing he is gonna beam you in 1 mag. No amount of argument can change this. Now those guys running this game have 2 options: remove it completely (which is the best one in a competitive fps game like apex) or input segregation (m/k plays with m/k, controller with controller).The thing is the people in charge of this game don't care about it. They don't play their own game, they take way too long to fix game breaking bugs (or they never fix them in the first place). They add unnecessary and unasked for stuff like those stupid forced LTM (the last one is ridiculous to say the least). And their anti-cheat is non-existent, hackers running rampant at the highest ranked tiers even.I have a theory that the people who created this game were fired or had their contracts terminated and now we're left with a clueless 10 person team (8 of them working on skins) who's one and only purpose is to milk as much money from this game before it dies.

@lightning_5o As someone who also plays on KB&M... Yes we have an advantage in movement, looting, medium to long range gun fights, HOWEVER, console players know for a fact that aim assist kicks in when you're close to the enemy so they push hyper aggressively to get close so they can use aim assist. So it doesn't matter if I have good aim, good movement, etc.. if I get to close to a player on console, that aim assist kicks in and no matter how hard I try to dodge and weave, I still get hit. I've been playing for over a year now, 3k+ kills on revenant 1k+ on a few others I know the difference between good players and "good players". I don't remember who made the video, but a while back there was a guy who made a video on how much console players rely on aim assist. He played a match with and without out, he nearly dropped a 20 bomb with aim assist, THE VERY NEXT GAME, the dude barely got any kills because he actually had to move his crosshair to the target for the duration of his gunfire. I urge you to do the same. Play a game with and without aim assist and you'll see how big of a difference it makes.

You know, the thing is I'm classifying myself as an average player. I'm good enough to bury some bullets into people but far from being good enough to compete if I ever wanted to. Yet the average person I'm facing off against has no issues tracking my every movement regardless of how unpredictable I make it. At this point I can just stop moving altogether, because there is no point in drawing out the inevitable.So to already counter the argument: Yes, I'm definitely not good enough to go against those people. Hence why I find it more than unfair that I'm forced to go against them in the first place.

To answer some people here saying that aim assist is needed so controller can compete against m/k, let me tell you one simple fact: controller is an inferior input device (in fps games) which should never be able to compete against m/k which is the superior input device (in fps games again).If you artificially try to balance the controller in order to compete against m/k (basically giving it aimbot close-range) you are mocking every competitive m/k player in the world.

@Ghosted_Waffle Every controller player would be equal if what you say is true. That’s not the case. More pro players play MKB, and since these tournaments have their careers and money on the line if the almighty aim assist was so powerful they’d all be on the sticks. If you get outplayed it’s bc the player who killed you is better than you.

@lightning_5o I drop 8-10 kills per game and my win most of my games. But when I play with controller I can go anywhere from 12-15 kills. So yeah nice try soi boi, here’s your participation medal.

@Ghosted_Waffle So you’re better with controller than MKB? So by your ridiculous logic, if Shroud can kill 20 on MKB he can do 25 on controller? Why did all the pros who “switched” to controller switch back to MKB shortly after?

@lightning_5o Nah you are just ignorant. The controller aim assist is huge problem in the game currently and plenty of these pro players are abusing it already.
It basically glues your crosshair to the enemy and makes it a much easier. I played few games with controller just to test it and I can say that by far it is broken...
No way should you have any aim assist in PC, you either take the lower fps that gives you the aim assist boost or learn to aim like rest of the player base.
Also here are my badges just so you won't start saying "That's probably because you can only kill 1-2 enemies a game."

Have you played with controller on pc? Do you think before you go at people or just open your mouth and let the stupid come out? It’s not a fun experience, mouse and keyboard just feels so much better when you’re sitting at a desk especially when you’re changing games.

@KarvaRausku The aim assist on PC isn’t strong except up close like with shotguns which I can fully admit. I play MKB also and hit masters on both MKB and controller, I play better with guns like the 99, 301, flatline etc on MKB recoil is easier, movement is tremendously better, looting is better, the advantages outweigh the advantages on controller but sure keep blaming aim assist for the reason you’re dying to kids aiming with their thumbs while you have your entire arm

@lightning_5o Could it be because some feel it to be more comfortable for them? The aim assist is bonkers if you set it up right, even when I had the default settings it followed the enemy players way too much. And saying that it's even STRONGER on ps and xbox isn't really good way to talk about it since it makes it sounds even worse.
