Your aim doesn’t suck, you’re just getting merc’d by aim assist. What a plague in this game. Let PC players turn off cross play and disable controller aim assist for pc players EA.

@Ghosted_Waffle “I’m not good at the game and I want to blame aim assist despite controller being inferior to MKB in almost every way” is all I see in your post. Y’all have an advantage in almost every way possible, if you’re getting destroyed by controller players it’s not bc of aim assist
- @lightning_5o I drop 8-10 kills per game and my win most of my games. But when I play with controller I can go anywhere from 12-15 kills. So yeah nice try soi boi, here’s your participation medal.
- @Ghosted_Waffle So you’re better with controller than MKB? So by your ridiculous logic, if Shroud can kill 20 on MKB he can do 25 on controller? Why did all the pros who “switched” to controller switch back to MKB shortly after?
@lightning_5o Nah you are just ignorant. The controller aim assist is huge problem in the game currently and plenty of these pro players are abusing it already.
It basically glues your crosshair to the enemy and makes it a much easier. I played few games with controller just to test it and I can say that by far it is broken...
No way should you have any aim assist in PC, you either take the lower fps that gives you the aim assist boost or learn to aim like rest of the player base.
Also here are my badges just so you won't start saying "That's probably because you can only kill 1-2 enemies a game."
- @lightning_5o As someone who also plays on KB&M... Yes we have an advantage in movement, looting, medium to long range gun fights, HOWEVER, console players know for a fact that aim assist kicks in when you're close to the enemy so they push hyper aggressively to get close so they can use aim assist. So it doesn't matter if I have good aim, good movement, etc.. if I get to close to a player on console, that aim assist kicks in and no matter how hard I try to dodge and weave, I still get hit. I've been playing for over a year now, 3k+ kills on revenant 1k+ on a few others I know the difference between good players and "good players". I don't remember who made the video, but a while back there was a guy who made a video on how much console players rely on aim assist. He played a match with and without out, he nearly dropped a 20 bomb with aim assist, THE VERY NEXT GAME, the dude barely got any kills because he actually had to move his crosshair to the target for the duration of his gunfire. I urge you to do the same. Play a game with and without aim assist and you'll see how big of a difference it makes.
You know, the thing is I'm classifying myself as an average player. I'm good enough to bury some bullets into people but far from being good enough to compete if I ever wanted to. Yet the average person I'm facing off against has no issues tracking my every movement regardless of how unpredictable I make it. At this point I can just stop moving altogether, because there is no point in drawing out the inevitable.
So to already counter the argument: Yes, I'm definitely not good enough to go against those people. Hence why I find it more than unfair that I'm forced to go against them in the first place.

- @lightning_5o So Imperial Hal isnt good at the game? Shiv isnt good at the game? So LULU is not good at the game? These are 3 of the biggest streamers in the world for apex legends who all have expressed how broke aim assist is. This data is backed up by thousands of players on PC who are sick of it.
When you got someone like my friend as example who is not great at apex maybe gets 1-2 kills a game on average up to 5-700 damage. To pick up a controller drop 13 kills and 3k damage on the very first time ever using controller on apex shows real data of how broke aim assist is. This is someone who will tell people flat out he is not even good at apex. But on controller he is god.
So you have some the biggest names on this game who dislike aim assist you have thousands of other who dislike aim assist. But I suppose we are just not good because aim assist kills us means we are bad at the game. You know peoples who career is on this game must just be bad to die to a controller user?
