Your aim doesn’t suck, you’re just getting merc’d by aim assist. What a plague in this game. Let PC players turn off cross play and disable controller aim assist for pc players EA.

@lightning_5o apparently it doesn't that much since I asked my old teammate who currently plays for NaVi why there are so many controller players in yesterdays tournament. And he said that around 90% of the NA players in these pro tournaments use, wait for it....

So why is it that they would use controller when mouse and keyboard is so supreme according to you? It must not have anything to do that they can't actually aim and are using the aim assist could it?

@KarvaRausku 90% of the ALGS players are not on controller. The majority are on MnK. They make a big deal out of who is on controller because it is so surprising controller players can compete.
- @hayhor I wouldnt say they complain due to controller users actually being able to keep up. Its more this is a tournament at times lots of money on the line. Would you want to practice hard for a week for this event to play against aim assist disadvantage in a normal pc lobby event?
This is something that should never be a thing to be truly competitive fair game play. To allow a advantage such as 60% aim assist into a event where money is on the line verse pc users this is why they make a big deal about it. It simply is just not fair for anyone in the event. An advantage is an advantage.
Look at it like this. Your at the olympics about to run track. The ground has hot coals. You have shoes the guy your racing has no shoes. You have the advantage to win because you was given an advantage in a competitive scene. - @hayhor There is no doubt that some people are extremely good with mouse and keyboard to surpass the aim assist. On longer distance mouse and keyboard is still superior. You can see however who uses aim assist. Not landing a singular shot on range, suddenly aim-bot mode when up-close. I mean I can also hit better when on close range, but the difference isn't as extreme as with some other people.
@lightning_5o Not even close to what my movement is but thank you for assuming I'm the lowest kind of player that exists in the game.
Lately I've been spectating controller people, and it's ridiculous what kind of maneuvers they can pull off while still having pinpoint accuracy. But as soon as ranged combat commences, you could think the guy who previously sat on the computer was replaced by the next person you could find who has never played Apex before. @hayhorWell thats because he plays on controller i would expect that.... lmao Those who use controller always say its not big deal ignore it. Those of us who feel the wraith of the controllers are the ones who speak out about it. We want our fair game play back. Let us opt out cross play they would never hear another word about it.
- @hayhor Well the inner circles say that majority have started to push to use controllers and last time I watched playapex it was clear who abused it since plenty of people stopped moving while looting and aimed like robot without the assistance.
- @KarvaRausku I watch every event. Pretty much everyone is moving while looting boxes.

To answer some people here saying that aim assist is needed so controller can compete against m/k, let me tell you one simple fact: controller is an inferior input device (in fps games) which should never be able to compete against m/k which is the superior input device (in fps games again).
If you artificially try to balance the controller in order to compete against m/k (basically giving it aimbot close-range) you are mocking every competitive m/k player in the world.

@E9ine_ACI've watched him quite a bit and one of my friends watches him daily. Neither of us has seen him use a controller. His movement is definately MnK.
His teammate dropped recently tried to play controller and quickly switched back to MnK because he couldnt handle how movement was affected and even said it.
I don't even need to watch the video. Using hal as the person to give the opinion does nothing for me. His impact on this game is as negative as it gets. All he does is whine. He essentially kicked albralelie from the team to bring on a controller player in snipedown.
If you remember I'm all for choices in the game. What happens on PC doesnt affect me.I'm currently asking myself what makes a certain streamer more entitled in his opinion than another. Or what makes streamers in general more entitled than normal players in their opinions. I feel like this way of thinking gives certain people more power over the game than they actually have.
I'm not even asking for cross play to be removed entirely, or that controllers get their aim assist removed. I'm just asking that I want options to disable being paired with controller players. Because as an average player, it feels all the more impacting to be paired with players who have an advantage by proxy.
What some of the top tier players do doesn't concern me. They have enough skill and game time invested into Apex Legends to know how to play. Whether you pair them with controller users or not will probably yield little to no difference, hence why some of the big players prefer mouse and keyboard. You have to consider though that we still have a vastly filled low-tier area.
The people that are legitimately new to the game are suffering the most. They have little to no skill to compensate what controller gives to others. I have a friend who has "recently" started Apex Legends. And she is just like me. When I started, 90% of my shots missed. But so did the enemies. Well, except now. You meet a controller player and you can find yourself being turned into cheese.
[Sarcasm] Or if you want to even it out, why not give us mouse and keyboard users the same aim assist? That way, I can make use of the same options the other players have. [/sarcasm]
