Your aim doesn’t suck, you’re just getting merc’d by aim assist. What a plague in this game. Let PC players turn off cross play and disable controller aim assist for pc players EA.

its easy, many pc players use third party software (bannable but ea no ban), simulate joypad with mouse, you have aimassist on mouse this is problem...and EA do nothing...
@KarvaRauskuBut it’s not that strong in Apex. In some games it is, but in Apex sorry but it isn’t. 90% of pro players aren’t on the sticks so what are you talking about? If you’re crying about aim assist you just aren’t that good it’s simple. The skill ceiling
On MKB is tremendously higher, a mouse is more precise, period. Not to mention the loot advantages and the obvious movement advantages keybindings, shield swap in 0.1 seconds etc.- @KarvaRausku This is clearly not true. In the last algs (1week ago) there was one team all using controllers (sf aim assist) and I think 2 other players including tsm snipedown. This would be 5 out of 60 players which is 8%. Even tsm imperialhal has used a controller in the algs but went back to mouse and keyboard. This is their living. If it gave a competitive edge they would take it. Seems pretty balanced. Just looking at stats would imply that mouse users have the advantage. Most pros play with a mouse. Most teams winning the comps play with a mouse. Most good players can 1 clip with mouse. If you get outplayed or the other player hits all their shots just deal with it. No one wins every fight. We all miss sometimes (most of the time in my case and I have aim assist!) and we all hit every shot sometimes.
Cross platform was attempted 10 odd years ago by microsoft BUT in the initial stages they threw it out because all the xbox pro players got merced by mid skill MKB players, thats why aim assist was developed in the first place.
The amount of artificial assistance on pads is insane but it has to be that way to keep it competative.
My only assumption is that like everything else, in time the controller players will become more skilled and the balance will break, i personally still dont think there is a particularly good balance between aim assist and mouse keyboard and more importantly i believe its something that will constantly need to be tweaked.

These are 3 of the biggest streamers in the world for apex legends who all have expressed how broke aim assist is. This data is backed up by thousands of players on PC who are sick of it.
When you got someone like my friend as example who is not great at apex maybe gets 1-2 kills a game on average up to 5-700 damage. To pick up a controller drop 13 kills and 3k damage on the very first time ever using controller on apex shows real data of how broke aim assist is. This is someone who will tell people flat out he is not even good at apex. But on controller he is god.
So you have some the biggest names on this game who dislike aim assist you have thousands of other who dislike aim assist. But I suppose we are just not good because aim assist kills us means we are bad at the game. You know peoples who career is on this game must just be bad to die to a controller user? - @KarvaRausku 90% of the ALGS players are not on controller. The majority are on MnK. They make a big deal out of who is on controller because it is so surprising controller players can compete.
- @hayhor I wouldnt say they complain due to controller users actually being able to keep up. Its more this is a tournament at times lots of money on the line. Would you want to practice hard for a week for this event to play against aim assist disadvantage in a normal pc lobby event?
This is something that should never be a thing to be truly competitive fair game play. To allow a advantage such as 60% aim assist into a event where money is on the line verse pc users this is why they make a big deal about it. It simply is just not fair for anyone in the event. An advantage is an advantage.
Look at it like this. Your at the olympics about to run track. The ground has hot coals. You have shoes the guy your racing has no shoes. You have the advantage to win because you was given an advantage in a competitive scene. - @hayhor There is no doubt that some people are extremely good with mouse and keyboard to surpass the aim assist. On longer distance mouse and keyboard is still superior. You can see however who uses aim assist. Not landing a singular shot on range, suddenly aim-bot mode when up-close. I mean I can also hit better when on close range, but the difference isn't as extreme as with some other people.
@lightning_5o Not even close to what my movement is but thank you for assuming I'm the lowest kind of player that exists in the game.
Lately I've been spectating controller people, and it's ridiculous what kind of maneuvers they can pull off while still having pinpoint accuracy. But as soon as ranged combat commences, you could think the guy who previously sat on the computer was replaced by the next person you could find who has never played Apex before. @hayhorWell thats because he plays on controller i would expect that.... lmao Those who use controller always say its not big deal ignore it. Those of us who feel the wraith of the controllers are the ones who speak out about it. We want our fair game play back. Let us opt out cross play they would never hear another word about it.
