PC using controller aim assist vs Xbox/PS5 aim assist

Is it me or does it feel like when you use a controller on pc it doesnt feel like it has any aim assist but on a console it does? Am I going crazy?

  • No.  There is a variable in the coding for aim assist.  On PC that value is .4, and on console it is .6.  Console has stronger aim assist than PC, with lower FPS being the reason given.

  • @Eshshshss The waterfall is my biggest enemy, even ADSing in that direction reduces my fps to 35. It's like I am moving at 0.25x speed, can't hit a single shot. Luckily Respawn patched the ring logic on Party Crasher, so it has a slight downtown(the other side) bias.

And I agree, any frame drop above 10-15 is painful from my experience. My gpu is the minimum spec for Halo infinite(I don't want to outright say it 🤐)

Honestly, my argument is that I don't think there is much of a competitive advantage running higher than 60fps, anyway... I would happily lock my fps to 60 if I could get console strength aim assist!
