Penalty For Rogue Players

On Apex, in any game mode that is, players should be penalised for abandoning their squad mates... It's really frustrating to be going through this numerous times & it takes the fun out of the game....

@SabSpeed If you don’t want to deal with randoms players doing their own thing put together a premade squad. You can make posts to find people to play with. People do respond and will join you.

I play frequently with randoms. I get frustrated at times as well. But I also have fun with it and have made some gaming friends. I have learned that when you play with randoms you absolutely must be flexible. If they won’t let you lead, hang with them. If they drop solo, try and rotate to them.

I had a random on Friday who dropped solo to overwatch. I dropped to Octanes Gauntlet. He started getting attacked, I told him to just run and hide. He ended up getting downed but I was able to grab his banner. Respawn him on a blue shield, he walks past it.. i kill a squad and he ignores their death boxes. Next thing I hear is a kid probably no older than 5-6, playing on his dads account. We ended up making it to top 2 and all he had was a moz. He definitely made things interesting. But he was a kid and did not know any better.

You don’t know who/what is playing, so be kind. It might be their first experiences gaming online, you want them to have a positive experience and join/enjoy the gaming community.

@DarthValtrexBad parenting... 5/6 years and guns... no further defense for it! Thats my only take away

  @Koochi-QOh the dad was trying to help him. When the mic was turned on it was entertaining to listen to. And I dunno, I had cap guns at 5-6, i turned out mostly okay. Never been to jail or arrested.
  
  now if it was BFV I would agree. That game definitely has some gore.

    I totally agree with you in regards to being flexible with players, I usually careless when playing normal games because I know when I play Ranked, everyone takes it seriously lol... However, the game has interesting events & these gamers carry on the same attitude so maybe events need to be carried over to Ranked as well, Idk. Granted you made a valid point in regards to never knowing who's behind the controller, still doesn't make it right to have underaged people playing a 16+ game. Ratings are there for a reason, I personally don't allow my little brother to play such games due to the unpredictable manner of other gamers, he's also just 13. Same way a 13yr old won't be allowed into a screening for a R Rated film basically.
