Yep, because apparently this is the awesome pro way to play that's fun.
I find lower level players with less ego last longer than some of the "experts". Too many players seem to think they know better.
If I'm honest, I blame the streamers and Twitch Rivals. That is not how to play the game for the general public, but the general public feel compelled to try, and fail time upon time.
Sign of madness I say.
- Yes , they land in overly crowded places at all times..
- the idea to drop in a hot area is good idea. if you survive this area then u will be geared and have experience at fighting . if you drop in a so called safe zone you will most of the game looting and when you do get to the final fight you will be outplayed and will have 0 chances to win . if you play with randoms its better to drop in hot zones to test their skill level . if they good they will come up on top and you will have a better chance to win . I hate to get to top 3 fight and find out my teammates don't know how to aim at all. rather game ends fast
I must admit it is a thrill to land on the drop ship or into Skull Town for a tag team boxing match. It reminds me of those scenes from Anchorman when the news crews fight each other.

I guess you don't win many matches lol...
maybe you should go play Unreal tournament or quake champions Free for all modes.
The drop ship isn't as bad because you can bail out and most of the time be safely away from people still travelling to another part of map on drop ship. But you gotta know to bail right away and stop being a hero!!! .But dropping to skull town? when everyone else is? If you are not a dominating player you are basically giving up before the match starts. You are basically saying I suck and I don't care anymore. I find it embarrassing. At least learn to run away if you are out geared. Why suicide?
Or maybe you are just extremely selfish and tell yourself, "its just a pub, I'm just practicing" screwing your teamates over cause you don't care.
But its even worse then that now man. People aren't dropping to certain spots. They are just dropping straight down wherever the drop ship starts.... Literally pressing E right after the countdown and just pointing straight down. Almost every match. I think most of the players are just trolling this game now out of their own frustration and stupidity they bring on themselves, and to spite people like me that want competitive matches. It's just really good fun to drop in the same place as lots of other players. I think most players probably like to start their matches this way at some time or other.
It's all about speed experience farming.
You can farm a ton more experience quickly dropping into a hot zone, getting into a quick brawl, then restarting the process over playing for 20+ minutes and getting a Win.
Not to mention that people doing this, tend to only care about padding stats like damage done, kills, head shots etc....
You are going to run into like this a lot thanks to cheap BR games like Fortnight, or PubG.

another good point. ALot of these guys start bragging about headshot stats. And i'm like who cares about that. Where is your win stat. Then they start telling me there is no win stat. I keep hearing there is no win stat and i'm like wtf.
I think they have just blocked out the win stat from their mind knowing they way they play they won't get many wins. And they keep telling themselves headshots and kills determine your aim. When they are really just dropping hot to melee and shoot people right in front of them...
I always tell them wins is the most important stat and I'd rather see damage done and game played then kills and headshots. I mean dropping hot 12 hours a day and quitting as soon as you die is of course going to get you alot of kills.
I think you are on to something here.Has to be a happy medium- can’t stand dropping on the edges and looting the entire game and then killing 1 or 2 people for a win. Drop busy but do it smart and it’s far more rewarding when you all come out with a few kills and go on deep into a game. however the heroes who drop solo miles away from teamates then get insta downed are absolute clowns.

A noob can camp and last 20min without shooting anyone.
Are you with skills like shroud, dizzy etc? If yes then doesn't matter where you land.
A noob without skills like you will never git gut because you don't know how to git gud.
Whats the point when you land safe, loot 10 minutes and get killed instantly when u see enemy? lmao noob
Let me teach you noob the correct way to git gud asap
Launch fast - train your courage, train your aim.
- You get to train in just 1 minute
Launch slow - you play lootville
- You get to train in 10 minutes
How many time wasted if you launch late?
- only noobs without brain and stupid like you love to land late and think others who launch fast doesn't know what they are doing
- or players who doesn't care about git gud
Its not other players doesn't know what they are doing
It is you, stupid noob.
Yep, you're right.
