Re: What to do if your Apex Legends account got banned or suspended

So it came to my attention that my account had been permanently suspended for my username. Not only did this take a month for them to “catch it”. But I didn’t even get a warning. I guess what I’m trying to say is I am angry. I’ve spent almost 1500 hours on apex and more than 2000$, and I didn’t even get a warning. Just permanently banned. It’s a little frustrating because I’m a 16 year old. I was dumb for using a name that I know might have consequences, but I’ve seen people with worst cases. I wish a dev could reach out to me and just hear me out. At the end of the day I’m a good person with no bad intentions and I just wanted to play apex. My username was “elmejorjoto”. Meaning the best gay person. I guess it was translated into the f slur. But I’m gay myself, I have a boyfriend and I have for 12 months today. I don’t see why none of the appeals got that. WHY WOULD I BE HOMOPHOBIC IF I HAVE A BOYFRIEND. It was a simple mistake.

Ban appeals are not handled via the forums. If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, you can dispute any action against your EA account by following the steps in the following link:

I see I did not mention it on the forum and that’s my mistake. I tried appealing 7 times and I got my last appeal back the other night. It was heart dropping and I really have just been trying to reach out to devs. I don’t think it was reasonable to be permanently banned when this is my second offense in all of my history of apex. I’m a good person.🫤
