Steam Purchase Completed, but Apex Coins Not Received

Hi, my friend purchased Apex Coins through Steam today. The payment has already gone through, and the transaction shows as completed, but the Apex Coins haven't been added to their account yet.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there usually a delay, or is there anything they should try before contacting support?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Sorry to hear your friend is having trouble receiving their Apex Coins.

    If the Steam transaction shows as completed but the Apex Coins haven't appeared yet, we'd recommend first trying the troubleshooting steps in our Missing Content guide:

    How to find missing Apex Legends content

    Some of the key things to check include:

    • Restarting the game and Steam.
    • Making sure they're signed in to the correct EA Account linked to Steam.
    • If possible, launch Apex Legends through the EA app once to see if the Coins sync to the account.
    • Confirming the purchase was completed successfully in Steam.

    If the Coins still haven't appeared after 24 hours, please contact our support team with the proof of purchase so they can investigate further.

    I waited over 24 hours, but the Apex Coins still haven't been added to my account.

    The payment went through successfully on Steam, and the transaction shows as completed. I've already tried restarting the game, but nothing has changed.

    What should I do next?

    Please first double-check your Steam purchase history to confirm whether the Apex Coins transaction was completed successfully or if it failed. If your Steam Wallet was not charged, the purchase likely did not go through, and you may want to try again after fully restarting both Steam and Apex Legends.

    If your Steam Wallet was charged, the transaction shows as completed, and it's been more than 24 hours without the Apex Coins appearing in your account, please gather your proof of purchase, such as your Steam receipt or transaction ID, and contact our support team so they can review the transaction and investigate the issue.

    You may also want to reach out to Steam Support to confirm that the purchase was processed successfully from Steam's side.

    We've already tried everything in the guide, and both Steam and EA say the purchase was successful. Is there anything else we can do, or do we just need to wait for EA Help to investigate?

    Please make sure your support case was submitted successfully and that you've included your proof of purchase, such as your Steam receipt or transaction ID. Once everything has been submitted, our support team will investigate the transaction and get back to you as soon as possible.

    I had the same problem. In steam desktop app it showed the purchase as complete. However when i went to the steam support website in browser and clicked « purchases» it showed me that the purchase actually failed, but the money was still withdrawn from my steam wallet. Might not be the same in your case, but it Can be worth checking. If that is the case you Can just make a support case in steam
