Platinum Players are not bad, and why you're wrong if you think they are, Pt. II

I've gotten to Diamond and you know, they ARE better than Platinum players.  Which is to be expected. 

But to say Plat players, including Plat IV, is proven more than ever to be wrong.  Just math speaking here.  Good simply means better than average.  Nobody said good is great, and you certainly are wrong for comparing those two.

Good is simply better than average.  Platinum players ARE better than average, and not as good as Diamond players, and that makes enough sense.  You pretty much are only correct if you call Plat players bad if you are comparing relatively to players in ranks above, and not objectively across the whole population of people who play Apex.

I don't, also, see Diamond IV players making super amazing decisions over their Plat IV counterparts.  I would say, though, actually toxicity goes down in Diamond on average...except when it does a player goes full ballistic.  I do see less hot dropping in both Platinum and Diamond, but not zero.  I do see bad fights picked in both ranks too.

And I stick by my initial proposition that the only actual Platinum players are Platinum IV players, while if you are Plat III or higher, you are really a Diamond IV player who hasn't gotten there yet.  And for sure, if you are Diamond III to I, you are in a whole different category than Diamond IV.  Maybe you aren't a Master, maybe you are, but you are definitely better.

Not sure exactly how much time Respawn imagines people can devote to this game.  It seems like they think it should be a lot.  I cannot imagine spending the time it takes to Masters, even with enough skill to get there.
