@Rahz_VII Look at it this way. Let’s say you’re 150m away from a respawn beacon, 10 squads left, optimally 2 teammates as well and you have that gold backpack. You’re team sucks and had to kill the last guy you were fighting together. They don’t loot your golden backpack.
They both go to respawn beacon and revive you taking nothing from you. You come back and your golden backpack & most attachments are gone. You’re like ‘wth? They didn’t take it, so where is it’. And then, that’s right an ambush and you’re killed along with them.
That’s what you get for leaving anything gold in a box. People are hungry vultures when they see that shiny box. I rather not have them take my stuff either but if I have something of value, you better believe I want it in my teammates hands and I’ll just say ‘need a backpack’ multiple times in the hopes he gives it back (they never do) than an enemy having it. If he dies I can just loot him, followed by teambagging!
When they ping a respawn beacon and I know they’re watching I’ll even shake ‘noo’ so they know I don’t plan on reviving them.
Most of the time tho, you’re likely playing with noobs/selfish ppl or brainless idiots and they don’t know or don’t care so yea...

- @Koochi-Q see this falls into the many variables of the game and case per case basis I'd say, me personally I would check to see how many squads are left and how far the beacon and next ring is and make a decision. I'm also usually more than nice in sharing my loot, but like you said a lot just don't care
Just happend too me, i got downed and they got the other guy, they both looting so i died, and it takes Long time too die... They got my banner and ressed me, but * that i was Just afk, If they rly care about the loot more enjoy trying alone.
I feel this game gonna die out SOON. It goes more and more down on twitch.
Also a problem with the * banner pings spamming etc etc

So I came up with a solution if you died ur teammates can only take heals and everything else in ur dead box is locked of and they cannot take it
well you might be like what if it’s a enemy. In that’s case they can take anything

Lol, how about you get to keep whatever you want by not dying.
- @Koochi-Q I 100% get what your saying but not once when I have been revived someone was there looting because before they even respawn you they loot everything and if someone was gonna third party they would plus I am on PS4 so it takes a good min to loot but yeah I would rather them have my stuff that another team but knowing your better than them plus your doing the most work it’s really annoying
- @Koochi-Q That such a specific situation. Imagine this then, you get res but just die to the zone because instead of getting your full box back you have to go around looting all the half full boxes because your team vad to swap nd grab stuff from you instead of the opponents. Or run of without stuff the final fights.
I don't feel there's a definitive rule to this. If it's obviously safe for my mates to be brought back and be able to get their their stuff back I won't touch it until I absolutely need something in terms of health and shields. But as soon as it gets unclear if that's a given (distance to beacon, ring closing, other squads in the area, etc) I'd well be willing to take whatever. Ultimately it's better for the squad if I have the good armor and fancy weapon, rather than someone else who might use it against me/us.
Yeah I don't really get this obsession with not touching teammate's boxes. You forfeit your right to the loot the moment you die. If the teammates who are still alive want something he may as well take it. Still it's in your best interest to not spend 3 minutes switching weapons from a teammate's box (well any box, for that matter). Grab the immediate upgrades and batteries and be done with it, share the batteries later if he needs some. It's understandable to find white armor instead of purple in your box when you're revived, but it's mildly annoying to find a shotgun with no ammo instead of the r301 (and 200 light ammo left with no light weapon, just to add some salt XD).
On the other hand, I don't get ppl who would start looting the teammate box when there's a bunch of purple boxes lying around, where you may find just the same things. The teammate's loot is already managed to his preference and inventory space, there's no reason to take away the possibility for him to just grab everything quickly. P.S. if you don't swap weapons and don't grab all the ammo - he'll still be battle ready in a second, just maybe with worse attachments and armor.
What I don't approve though is the teammates who as soon as you revive them rush to loot your kills (especially if some are shiny yellow). That's why I generally loot first (if I'm still poor), then revive.
