Players Climbing in ranked with Alt-F4

I honestly suspect this being a problem Respawn needs to look over, first remove the entire system, if you disconnect you lose as you would if your squad died at the same time you disconnected.

I have played with several complete maniacs playing ranked like they are playing normals and i am about to hit diamond.

I honestly believe alot of people are using the alt-f4 exploit now, just looking at the forums people complaining about being banned for using it

which shows how they see themselves, using cheats, admitting it and openly talking about something being unfair while abusing everything they can find

and if this is a standard among players today I suspect we have a big number of players abusing exploits and cheating to climb the ladders without having to put in any effort.

This is a problem that has been growing so big that it will ruin respawn, among others companies if they dont start to work against it, and stop wasting time thinking you can fix the entire planet trough systems that allows everyone with a gameboy to compete in ranked.

    @L0Liv3r They are getting banned so that's a start. People however do honestly get disconnected and need that RP back for something they could not control the first time or so.

    I myself wondered if I would lose RP through powering down my XBOX or disconnecting my Ethernet and it seems to allow it once before implementing a RP Loss which I believe should be the same for PC.

    Allow for one time use with a warning after logging back on and than no more.

    I agree with this. 

    Crashes don't happen so frequently that it's acceptable to tolerate the abuse of the system to continue extending loss forgiveness for the few cases where a player preserves RP rightfully.

    Given the ramping up nature of lockout bann for deserting ranked (up to a whole month) it's probably best not to apply the deserter penalty to either legitimate crashes or Alt F4 quits to avoid people inevitably racking up serious deserter penalties due to actual crashes. But the rating should be lost to put a stop to Alt F4 abuse.

    I suppose this is a PC only thing tho, on PS4 at least, I'm always asked to comply with sending a crash report if the game crashed (I cannot choose not to send the report) so a legitimate crash is basically always on the record.

    I'm sure most legitimate high ranked players would rather accept an occasional rating loss due to a crash than having the Diamond and Predator player pool getting increasingly polluted with frauds who play like bots.

    If this goes too far, that basically means that no high ranked player can ever go for some solo que games because their mates aren't online since you'd get players who would be hard stuck at Plat IV if it wasn't for the exploit.

    Ye actually that's a good idea, if you get disconnected in a ranked you don't lose anything the first time and iff this happens within 5-10 min into your next ranked game then maybe allow for another loss forgiven but after that, if you keep playing and you get dced it's on you.
