And dont you have any complains about this system then? Because im realy not feeling Apex anymore if they keep the crafting materials at 2400 for a single legendary.

I want to mention an angle I haven't seen posted in this thread. Whenever there are complaints about something costing too much, the argumant always comes out that "if they sell it for x% less, they would make more money!"
On the face of it, this argument makes great logical sense, and I have made it myself in the past. But here's the thing. We're talking about the resources of a huge company here. I don't feel like looking up EA's net worth, but we know it's very big. A company like EA spends a LOT money on marketing research. If that research told them they could make more money by charging half the price for skins, they would do it so fast your neck would snap.

Yea man ea was always a company who took adventage off players, their loot boxes (gamble system) is in their eyes suprise mechanics. Thats what they call it lol but look up on youtube yongyea this guy talks about this matter as to why ea is a scam company.

It's really the Fortnite model copied everywhere that's causing the problem. Fortnite can get people to pay $40 for a batman skin or star wars skin. And, sure, they have more 'common' skins for $5, $10, $20 but really the whole 'free' to play is a gimmick to sort of basically get you in their store and buying stuff.
The prices are too high because, frankly, people have been pretty solidly fooled into paying for them. And if people want to lose cash, there is always someone happy to take it from them. This is completely aside from whether you think it is worth it or not. More a matter of if you want to pay $60 for a game plus $15 per DLC, a company will do that. But if you'd rather pay $0 for a game, then buy a $10 battle pass 4+ times a year, and then also maybe drop $20 on a skin each event...which is also 4+ times a year, you BETTER BELIEVE a company would rather take your $120+ every single year, for all the years they can.
I mean, come on, who cares if you want to pay it or not. Somebody does, and Respawn is going to send it to EA while making the developers work 80 hours a week for even more ca$h

I'm sorry, but this is patently false.

@pandareno1999 Well, that's certainly good news. I don't mind being wrong about that.
But I am sorry to say, $18 is still too much for a skin 🙂
Edit: You may want to re-examine your definition of patently false, however. What you are saying is you believe Respawn over the anonymous poster. That's doesn't mean the anonymous poster in that article is making a 'patent falsehood'. You're picking the side you believe. And I'm not blaming you for that either, but that's a belief of an opinion when the truth is, you wouldn't necessarily know unless you worked there.
And let's not fool ourselves, overworked developers is a problem in the industry, so I pretty much think I'd take any defense with a grain of salt.

Since the last event skins its realy stupid man. 🤦🏻♂️

@xXHalo8GeniuSXxEvent skins legendary skins were always 2400 crafting metals(double the usual for a normal legendary)
Saving 2400 is a lot of effort tho, one BP gives you 1200 so 2 seasons worth. But still a lot cheaper than buying skin with Apex coins. Demands time instead of money, which is still a win for Respawn
