Have not paid attention to the map size but it feels like the teams are placed closer together and ring times work the map well to make it a faster paced BR game.
Wins in this mode count towards your wins total as well as all other BR stats in this mode counting.

Also know now that final ring is very fast. And the other team didn't seem interested in fighting, despite me being on Wraith. Like I told my teammates "okay, they don't wanna fight, strange, guess Wraith wins the game for free then GG".

@Asmodeus566Map sizes are a little smaller and the rings move faster with the 10 teams of trios instead of 20. I think they start at like Ring 2 damage as well, but I'm not sure. Games typically take about the 10 minutes they advertise, so about half a normal trios game from start to finish.
You drop straight down into a POI from your team's own drop ship with one other team (most of the time) and their position is marked for you after a few seconds on the ground. There is also a loot tick right below the drop ship that has about 4 weapons in it and tons of kitted weapons in floor loot.
@hayhor I've found that people do rez you much more consistently because you don't have to retrieve banners first (your team is automatically gets them) and the loot is enhanced so there are mobile respawn beacons all over the place (almost guaranteed in support bins, especially if you need one since it is smart loot).
As said by others, the only issue can be scarcity of ammo in floor loot.
