So I didn't realize this....yesterday I found out the hard way that Lifelines tac heal drone doesn't work inside a heat shield! Why?? If I am inside the heat shield being completely protected by the dome....why does my tac drone not work inside??Like as if Lifeline hasn't been screwed enough. @NickBeam27not to mention that DOC cooldown is 45 seconds, so if you use it for one of your teammates then later you needed it for your own in that case Ummm you're done XD.so let's compare with some of the other legends who can actually cause a lot of or some damage or provide an advantage or a real benefit for their teammates and for them selfsGibraltar 30 seconds, doom shield than can give him the ability to quick revive and protect the whole team from all directions.wraith 25 seconds, get out of tough situations every 25 seconds.Bangalore 33 seconds, provide smoke coverage of blind enemies which can be used for quick rotation and flanking plus she gets two of them.Fuse 20 seconds, oh this boy, imagine getting hit by cluster every 20 seconds I don't even know why they gave him two of these in the last update.lifeline DOC cooldown is 45 seconds, wow what a dangerous tactical ability, "oh no lifeline deployed her drone .....RUN ...RUN for your lives".but it's ok she can only use it once every 45 seconds so others have enough time to run away LOL

I play her a lot and this has been happening for some time now, in my experience you have to deploy the shield and wait for at least 1-2 storm ticks b4 you deploy it otherwise it acts like it’s taking storm dmg, this is especially frustrating if you deploy it and a HS right after bc it’s technically no longer in the ring

@maximas1986 Saw in the trailer that D.O.C. followed LL while running. Is that a buff that could make a change? Didn't even know her tactical cooldown is 45 seconds. That's too much! Not gonna lie, her ultimate is kinda useless especially in late game. There's only one time that the ultimate saved me was we're running out of cover in the final 2 circles and LL CP saved us giving us cover in an open space.

@maximas1986 🤪 And when she ults everyone on the map just knows the game is over. Longest tac and ult cooldown in the game. Her previous (strong) passive was the only thing that made her balanced, but yeah, let's remove that and let her ult give you blue armour instead of purple. 🤪

This has got to be a bug, the zone kills the drone and I bet there is a bug in the code that checks for zone damage that does not count for the heat shield then 😉
Perhaps register as a bug?

I thought the first time the drone disappeared, it was either a glitch or it was shot or something?
Tried two more times deliberately inside the heat shield to be sure - and yup.... it no work. : (
works exactly like when in storm....works for about 3 seconds then gone. Exactly the same. As if they forgot to adjust for the drone.
Can any of the Devs confirm if this was a mistake or was it meant to not work inside the heat shield?? If it was in fact meant to not work inside the heat shield - can someone provide some sort of explanation as to reasoning behind why it does not work?
Doesn't seem to make sense no matter how I much I try to wrap my head around it.

@Banzai3819 Oh, interesting. I will try to notice the next time. As I've too had this happen. And other times it deploys fine. E.g. had a game this morning where we're outside zone 4, while fighting some gatekeepers, I'm one tick from dying, throw heat shield, deploy drone, and it worked normally.
